The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1867

The board member was clearly taken aback by Charlotte's sheer arrogance. His expression shifted. "This is the first time Asclepius's research findings have been made public."

"With so much data and so many results, a half-hour presentation only provides a basic overview at best."

"Not to mention, when Asclepius was speaking earlier, you weren't even paying attention."

"To stand right in front of Asclepius and accuse her of research errors..." The board member furrowed his brow, adding, "Ms. Charlotte, you cannot throw around accusations like that lightly."

Asclepius represented the absolute pinnacle of the medical field.

The research she completed had never contained a single flaw.

Compared to Charlotte, he was far more inclined to trust in Asclepius's undeniable expertise.

As soon as the board member finished speaking, Queenie abruptly stood up from the side.

The sudden movement was so forceful that the glasses perched on her nose fell to the floor, revealing a pair of cold, furiously glaring eyes.

"None of this research was completed overnight," Queenie spat, her fists clenched tight as she glared fiercely at Charlotte. Her tone was completely aggressive. "Do you have any idea how much effort went into these few pieces of paper? How many failures were endured?"

"Correcting errors?"

The mere mention of 'Asclepius' seemed to have struck a raw nerve. Queenie was practically shaking with rage. "You think you can understand this data and these results? You're just a twenty-something student who thinks she's untouchable just because she has a little talent!"

"As long as I'm breathing, I will never allow anyone to slander my life's work."

"If you can't produce evidence today, you will be held accountable for your words!"

Following Queenie's outburst, a flurry of whispers swept through the stage and the audience.

She had really crossed a line now, hadn't she?

Correcting errors? What a joke!

She probably knew she couldn't win, so she was just trying to drag her opponent down!

In an instant.

Every single pair of eyes in the room locked onto Charlotte, waiting eagerly for her to be humiliated.

What right did she have to critique anything?!

In a quiet corner of the audience, an impeccably dressed man sat with crossed legs, resting his hands gracefully on his knees. He exuded an air of quiet, aristocratic nobility.

From beginning to end, his gaze remained fiercely locked onto the girl on the stage.

Watching her act with such absolute, defiant lawlessness—as if the rest of the world simply didn't exist—a smile tugged at his lips. A soft, indulgent tenderness brimmed in his eyes.

"Boss, we just got word from Aurelia."

Hans pulled out an iPad, tapping the screen before placing it respectfully in front of Anthony. "Following your orders, the Aurelian branch of the X Organization has launched a full-scale assault on the leading pharmaceutical groups in Aurelia."

"As of right now, those pharmaceutical groups are plunging straight into a financial crisis."

"Mhm."

Anthony cast a lazy glance at the screen before shifting his attention back to his girl. His lips parted slightly. "Keep going."

If he didn't crush that pathetic excuse for a pharmaceutical group now, they would inevitably crawl back out of the woodwork later.
