The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1830

Vinson's face instantly twisted in shock, rendering him completely speechless.

"He's just joking around," Wallace hurriedly stepped in to run damage control, shooting a lethal, warning glare at Vinson. He turned back to Charlotte with a soft tone. "We'll take our leave for now."

"Charlotte, we eagerly await your good news."

Charlotte merely raised an eyebrow, silently watching the two Deans exit the office.

"Here, have some water."

Once the office descended into comfortable silence, Glenn personally poured a glass of water for Charlotte and sat down beside her. He couldn't hide the massive, proud smile splitting his face.

"The epidemic in Apex was brought entirely under control using your traditional herbal formulas. It's caused an absolute earthquake in the international community."

"You've done an incredible job, Charlotte. Honestly, I'm the one who needs to be learning from you now."

"Sure." Charlotte gave a faint smirk. Then, her gaze locked onto Glenn's face, turning deadly serious. "What's the real story with Wallace?"

"Wallace and I have known each other for decades. We're both incredibly passionate about elevating traditional medicine. But back when he was the active Dean, his hands were tied by university politics."

"He fought brutal administrative battles for years just to get the board to finally approve the creation of this new class. He's poured his blood, sweat, and tears into it."

"I think... when you emerged onto the scene, you finally gave him hope."

Hope?

Hearing that word, Charlotte pressed her lips into a thin line, sinking into deep thought.

But that guy Vinson clearly despised traditional medicine.

With Vinson currently holding absolute power over the Medical College, whether this new program could actually survive and thrive under his jurisdiction was entirely up in the air.

Outside the Kingswood University gates.

"Professor, the intel I received is absolutely bulletproof!"

Vinson jogged to keep up with Wallace's brisk pace. He clutched his phone, his voice vibrating with frantic excitement. "The International Medical Alliance's presidential election is being hosted right here in Cabinda!"

"And rumor has it, Asclepius is officially on the roster!"

Asclepius?

"Furthermore, Charlotte's mastery is more than enough to guide those students to greatness."

"You will return to the university, order your staff to immediately prepare a corner office, and have everything perfectly arranged for Charlotte's onboarding at a moment's notice."

"But, Professor..."

Vinson refused to back down. "How do you know we can't convince Asclepius if we don't even try?"

"Hmph."

Wallace shot him an icy, mocking glare. "Fine. If you can actually manage to recruit Asclepius to our university, I'll step down and let you do whatever you want."

"You have my word!"

Vinson agreed immediately, brimming with absolute, delusional confidence.

Whatever it took.

He was going to make sure that arrogant little brat never set foot in his university.
