The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1182

“Any news about the bracelet?”

Anthony picked up an apple, peeling it with practiced care before slicing it and arranging the pieces on a plate.

“Yes.” Adonis stepped over and tapped his tablet. “A lot of people saw the reward and sent in photos. This one looks the most like Charlotte’s bracelet.”

As soon as Anthony saw the picture, his dark eyes sharpened, and his whole expression turned serious.

The bracelet really did look just like Lottie’s.

“Did you get in touch with the seller?”

“We tried,” Adonis said, frowning. “But for some reason, the seller blocked us and vanished.”

He looked genuinely confused. Who could resist a reward that big?

“Keep searching. If the money isn’t enough, offer more.” Anthony kept slicing the apple, his tone icy. “If you can’t even track down one person, you might as well go home and start farming.”

Jackson and Adonis went quiet.

Hans said nothing, either.

“Get ready. We’re heading back to Cabinda tonight.” Anthony’s voice was flat. “Let the Blair Estate know we’ll need a few things.”

“What do you need, sir? Just tell us.”

Hans looked a little lost.

“Things for the engagement.”

Anthony paused, his dark eyes catching the light like there were tiny stars in them.

Charlotte had promised. Once they got back to Cabinda, they’d get engaged.

Engaged?

Charlotte wasn’t even twenty yet.

Couldn’t Anthony wait half a year?

***

Cabinda.

Olivia wiped out every trace of herself online.
