"Where the hell are they?" Commander Zhang was quite confused by what he saw. Then, he was surprised when his eyes fell on the aloof evil shadow in the middle of the camp. He did not understand why the camp was suddenly empty and why the man was all alone.

"Catch him at once." Commander Zhang didn't want to return empty-handed, so he immediately signaled the spirit manipulators in the spearhead.

With that, several spirit manipulators rushed to attack the arrogant figure.

However, the figure suddenly raised a ferociously strong black flame on his body. In a blink of an eye, it spread everywhere, and the spirit manipulators were instantly burned to ashes before they could launch any attacks or scream.

Commander Zhang and his soldiers were shocked at what just happened. Their mouths were wide open and their eyes were full of fear.

"Well, let me play with you for a while." The figure confronted the spearhead team with an arrogant aura and momentum.

Then, a Magic Spiritual Space suddenly appeared beside the figure. Then, a huge human-shaped spirit-manipulated beast wearing an extraordinary icy armor jumped out of the Magic Spiritual Space. It let out a deafening roar to the sky and a strong eight-star aura filled the surroundings which was appalling.

As soon as the enemy saw the beast, they felt their legs wobble and grow weak.

Then, another beast which was covered in a clouded and colorful gauze slowly walked out of the Magic Spiritual Space like a noble empress. It was also an eight-star spirit-manipulated beast with an arrogant posture that seemed to make everyone surrender to it.

The appearance of two spirit-manipulated beasts shocked the spearhead team. They could not imagine how powerful a human spirit manipulator must be to summon two eight-star spirit-manipulated beasts at the same time!

Many soldiers in the spearhead were already frightened before the battle even began.

However, it didn't occur to the spearhead team that what was truly terrifying was not the two eight-star beasts, but the aloof figure approaching them. As he approached them, a sense of death was already spreading out which was rather terrifying.

The five thousand spearhead soldiers were trembling with fear as they were beaten by the man and his two beasts.

Meanwhile, the spirit manipulator squad sent by Alyssa to burn the provisions had also arrived at the back of the South United Army's military camp. It was strange that there was no one there, but they immediately burned the provisions anyway.

Not long after the fire at the back of the camp soared into the sky, arrows rained down one by one into the camp. In an instant, the camp turned into a sea of fire as it burned down the whole place.

Standing in the safety of their camp, Alyssa looked at the fire burning in the South United Army's military camp. Her eyes were cold with a complex expression on her face.

Soon enough, the news that the South United Army's camp was empty finally reached her.

"What? Their camp is empty? How is that even possible?" Alyssa asked in utter shock. She wondered if Rocky had already guessed what she was trying to do.

Although the South United Army had the advantage in military strength, Alyssa seemed to have built an impregnable fortress especially with their advantage in terrain and their solid defense. This made the South United Army's attacks in vain.

The battle lasted for two days and two nights. Corpses were scattered all over the front line and blood was flowing like a river. It was a totally horrible battle. At least twenty thousand people were killed or injured in both armies.

But the battle continued, and neither Alyssa nor Rocky had any intention of retreating. It seemed that the two armies would fight against each other to death.

However, both the generals and soldiers of the two armies were exhausted because of the fierce battle. The South United Army was obviously at the disadvantage because of the terrain. The forty thousand South United Army soldiers led by Rocky were now reduced to less than ten thousand, while there were more than ten thousand soldiers on Alyssa's side. This made Rocky's team in an extremely disadvantageous position.

"Now it's the time to retreat." Rocky ordered his troops to finally retreat with a dismayed look on his face.

Soon enough, the South United Army quickly retreated like defeated dogs. They threw away their armor and shield and immediately ran away.
