"Take your chopper?"
Charlie looked at Julien skeptically and queried, "Where can your chopper take me?"
Julien answered hastily, "Its range is about 300 miles. You can go anywhere it can fly!"
He then added, "I just told the pilot to get ready to take off. You can go anytime!"
"Where were you heading when you told the pilot to prepare for takeoff?" asked Charlie.
Julien quickly responded, "I was planning to have Royce go home and check on the situation, to see how the others are progressing and gather some information..."
Charlie replied calmly, "You're sending your son home, not outside the blockade. How can you be sure that your chopper can enter and exit the blockade?"
Julien affirmed, "I'm the first heir of the family. My chopper can definitely get in and out freely. No one can stop me."
"We'll see about that," Charlie smirked.
He then turned to Hank and ordered, "You will accompany Mr. Royce to take the chopper for a spin. Fly directly outside the blockade area and see if anyone tries to stop you. If no one does, just fly back. If they do, tell them that Mr. Royce wanted to test the strength of the air control."
When Royce initially heard that he was going to leave here by helicopter, he was relieved because he was being allowed to leave this place. When the helicopter he was riding in was intercepted, he could ask the personnel for help and then escape.
But Charlie's next remark shattered his luck.
In this case, escaping would not be an option. Whether or not the helicopter got intercepted, he would still have to return here.
Just when Royce was sighing dejectedly, Charlie looked disdainfully at Julien and coldly warned, "Listen, if your son dares to play any tricks, I will kill not only him but also you. Do you understand?"
"Yes... Yes..." Julien nodded while shaking in fear.
At this moment, Hank's subordinate's voice echoed from the walkie-talkie in his hand, "Boss, I have contacted the power company. The power line was severely damaged. The power line across the river has been cut. It is impossible to get enough people to repair it tonight. We will have to wait until tomorrow morning at the earliest. Do you think we need to send a power truck here?"
Hank quickly looked at Charlie, awaiting his instructions. Charlie cleared his throat and said, "Tell them not to send any power trucks tonight. Since someone has cut the electricity, it proves that they are about to make a move. Dispatching power trucks now won't solve the immediate problem. Everyone must stay extremely vigilant and keep a close watch on the Cole family mansion. Don't ever let your guard down."
With a nod, Hank promptly passed on Charlie's order to his men.
