Jilian was on the verge of tears as she anxiously looked back toward the estate, fearing her father might come chasing after her. However, Charlie didn't give her any chance.

Tears welled up in Jilian's eyes. Just as she was about to speak further to Charlie, her father, Antonio, arrived and angrily demanded, “Jilian! Explain to me why you're here!”

Antonio frowned at Charlie, then glanced at the two wrecked cars from the accident. After a moment of silence, he took out his wallet, withdrew a thousand US dollars in cash, and handed it to Charlie, saying calmly, “Since you helped me stop my daughter, take this one thousand US dollars and get lost!”
