The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family novel Chapter 4104

Dorothy sat up straight, her demeanor exuding severity. "The idle work I'm talking about is just like one who stands on top of Mount Everest. If you stand at the foot of the mountain and shout at this person at the top of your voice, he wouldn't be able to hear what you're saying. You can keep shouting until your voice is gone, but he still won’t hear it."

"Let's apply the same situation in your case. Charlie Wade hasn't made up his mind to marry you, but you're already doing idle work. Three years later, his thoughts will probably be exactly the same as they are now! What are you going to do if he still hasn't made up his mind to marry you? Wait for him for another three years, and continue doing another three years of

idle work?'

At this, Quinn's face instantly turned pale, a s white as paper.

She understood the meaning behind Dorothy's words.

She also realized Dorothy was right.

Thinking of this, she humbly asked Dorothy for advice, "Dorothy, oh dear Dorothy! Please teach me! How should I change my status quo and stop doing idle work?"

Dorothy replied immediately, "book at all the pretentious bitches on the internet. Why are they called pretentious bitches? They don't do idle work, but they also won’t do a lot of work. Yet, they'll still get the results they want. Perhaps she has something in her hands that she doesn't like and is ready to throw away. But once she finds out that you like it, she'll tell you how much she likes it, how important it is t o her, and how she can’t bear to give it up t o you."

Dorothy went on, “Of course, I'm not urging you to be a woman like this. But you should at least let Charlie Wade know what you've given and sacrificed for his sake.”

"Take this charity dinner for instance. As soon as you heard me saying that it's a charity fund to help orphans, you decided t o go immediately. That’s silly! There's only one reason you should use to decide whether you'll be attending the dinner or otherwise. Do you know what that is?"

She turned to Dorothy with a touched gaze and said emotionally, "Dorothy, you're my savior. Come, let me give you a kiss. I'd like to dedicate my first kiss to you!"

Dorothy dodged, pretending to be disgusted. "Forget it. Didn't you already dedicate your first kiss to Charlie Wade?”

Quinn said shyly, "I kissed him on his face. That doesn't count, right?"

Dorothy pursed her lips. "You know what? It's useless to kiss his face. Don't do that. Next time, just kiss him on the mouth!”
