The Vancouver port was as busy during the night as it was during the day.
Large-scale ports basically operated twenty -four hours a day. Despite the late hour, the lights were still on. A large number of trucks transporting containers kept going i n and out, and the dock was constantly loading and unloading cargo to docked ships.
Therefore, the sight of many cars entering the pier one after the other didn't raise any alarm.
Porter arrived at the port first, under the guidance of the Italian gang members he had subdued. He and his soldiers brought the gang members to a small, dilapidated cargo ship at the dock.
There were eight members of the Italian gang on the cargo ship, as well as three young women whom the gang had kidnapped.
In addition to the two women that Porter brought with him, there were a total of five young women at present. They were all kidnapped by the gang, ready to be sent to the high seas tonight.
Porter conducted a surprise interrogation o n the gang on the old cargo ship. He soon sniffed out the leader of the gang, an Italian named Francesco Rich.
As it turned out, Francesco was actually Andre's brother.
According to Francesco’s confession, they originally planned to set sail for the high seas at three o'clock in the morning, where they would then meet up with the cargo ships that came to pick up the goods at a specific location.
The other party would pick up the girls. They would only pay the Italian gang after they had disposed of the girls.
After successfully extorting the confession, Porter brought all gang members to the cargo ship that Charlie had bought. More than a hundred soldiers from Ten Thousand Armies were lying in wait there, waiting for the gang to be sent to their doorstep.
When Andre arrived at the pier with his men and Charlie in tow, the convoy had already expanded from less than ten cars t o around seventy to eighty cars.
Many of the subordinates who received the order drove to the pier alone or in groups of three to five. They simply joined the convoy after meeting Andre’s convoy along the way. As such, the size of the team expanded as they headed to the pier.
By the time they arrived at the pier, the convoy had already stretched up to nearly a kilometer.
The cargo ship Charlie bought was not docked at the loading dock, but was instead in a location that was relatively calmer than the loading dock. This was because earlier on, he instructed that the cargo ship would be leaving the port empty.
But now, everything would be different.
With this cargo ship, there were more possibilities to expand.
Perhaps this cargo ship would be the place where his dreams began!
As he fantasized his future success, Andre's impatience grew.
The car soon parked at the pier. Unable to wait any longer, Andre pushed the car door open and leapt out like an eager child.
Immediately afterwards, the cars behind him also parked at the pier, forming a long row.
Andre hurried to the other side of the car and pulled the door open to let Charlie out. He didn't forget to point his gun at Charlie a s he said with a smile, "Please get out of the car, Mr. Wade.”
