Hayman tried to soothe Spencer’s anger by quickly saying, "Eldest Master. In my opinion, our most urgent task right now is t o send a group of competent subordinates t o Aurous Hill. We have to find Lord Fox and Miss Kathleen first, no matter the cost."
Spencer's face was glum. "Mr. Morgan, I'll leave this matter to you. You should personally pick out several of our men and fly them to Aurous Hill today. You must find Lord Fox. I want to see him if he is still alive, and I want to see his corpse if he's dead!"
Hayman asked carefully, "Eldest Master, should I take any proactive measures if we find Lord Fox and Miss Kathleen?"
Spencer hesitated for a moment before saying coldly, "Find them first. If the situation's all under control, put them under house arrest so that Lord Fox cannot leave Oskia before he dies. If the situation's out of control, find a way to create an accident."
At this moment, a middle-aged man in his early fifties voiced his concerns. "Dad, what are you going to do with Kathleen when the time comes? If you don't get rid o f that girl, she'll definitely become a big problem for us in future!"
The man was Spencer's eldest son, Jordan's eldest grandson, and Kathleen's oldest cousin, Xavion Fox.
Xavion was nearly thirty years older than Kathleen. In fact, he had a son who was three years older than Kathleen.
As the youngest sister in Xavion's generation, Kathleen was originally well-liked, adored and greatly favored in the family.
In all honesty, this was all just an illusion due to Lord Fox’s influence.
Everyone showed their love and adoration for Kathleen because of Lord Fox's love for her. Many even treated Kathleen better than Lord Fox treated her.
But in reality, they harbored a deep-seated resentment for her.
Xavion himself had always been dissatisfied with Kathleen, as he felt that she was much too prominent and outstanding in the family. On top of that, Lord Fox doted on her greatly. This was a threat to his position as the eldest son and grandson.
Moreover, Kathleen was relatively skilful and intelligent in her right. She would often put the rest of the members of the Fox family down, indirectly or otherwise.
While Spencer was able to use the highest emergency plan to successfully become the chairman of the board, he could only use reasonable and legal means to gain control of the Fox family.
As long as Lord Fox was still alive, the company shares and assets would still be under his name.
If the old man intended to give these shares and assets to Kathleen, then Kathleen would be made the family’s legal heir.
If Spencer allowed Kathleen to come back with this will, he would be in a passive situation.
Spencer pondered for a moment before announcing, "Find them and get rid of them all! Bring a few more experts to that place. Don't let Jarvis Yant live, either!"
Spencer then turned to his son Xavion and instructed, "Xavion, put Rowan’s family under strict surveillance and restrict them from leaving the country. At the very least, we’ll have one more emergency measure if Kathleen really does come back."
