Chapter 307 Gangbanged
When Nadia surred from sleep, a sharp throb pulsed through her limbs, and the rancid stench lingering in the atmospitere drained the color from her cheeks.
The room was vacant–to soul in sight.
It wasn’t until her eyes fell upon the bruises smeared across her thighs that the memories slammed into her
like a tidal wave
“Goddamn 1
She baited for the washroom, scrubbing at her skin with wild desperation.
She had been gangbanged
Monsters–filthy and inhuman–had taken turns.
She belonged to the prestigious Morgan bloodline. How could this nightmare happened to someone like her?
“Maren, you filthy snake! I’ll end you I swear I will Nadia shrieked, nearly losing her mind.
Fler calculated scheme to destroy Maren had completely crumbled. The tr she laid had ensnared her instead.
As dusk bled into night, Maren lingered at the estate, eyes fixed on her phone, waiting for any word from
Saver
“Stil nothing?” she whispered, anxiety gnawing at her resolve.
Sawyer had promised details before sunset, but the sky was already swallowing the last traces of daylight.
Just then, her screen lit up.
An incoming call
“Indien? What’s going on?”
Maren’s voice faltered–she had expected Sawyer to be the one reaching out about Stormclaw.
Maren, is your friend still disguising as me? I need to return. My grandfather has suddenly fallen ill,” came
Lucien’s urgent tone.
Sawyer had impersonated Lucien to aid her, and Maren had instructed Lucien to remain hidden for the time being
In the chacs, she’d forgotten to tell him the act was over.
“It’s finished. You can return. I appreciate everything” she said, her tone softening
Geen the situation, Lucien needed to be with his family.

But wasn’t Calvert perfectly fine at the banquet earlier?
He had even tried to end her life there.
“All right,” Lucien replied, and the line went dead.
Moments later, her device rang once more.
This time, it was Sawyer.
Her eyes lit up as soon as she saw his name.
“Any updates on Stormclaw?” Maren asked as soon as she picked up.
“I’ve found a clue. Meet me,” Sawyer said grimly.
Maren could tell things had become more complicated.
“Where?”
Not caring that it was already dark, Maren grabbed her keys and dashed to the location Sawyer had given her.
The coordinates led to a secluded spot–exactly what she’d anticipated.
“So, he is not in Voutsas anymore,” she murmured.
If Stormclaw were truly hiding there, the Marshall family and Simon would have found him long ago.
Fortunately, after Maren’s reminder, Stormclaw had bought a car. She four the vehicle and sped toward the
location.
“I warned you–Maren’s not someone you can mess with. You didn’t listen,
voor at you. Pathetic.”
While Nadia trembled on the cold floor, aching in both body and soul, a recognizable voice pierced the silence.
She raised her head, vision blurry, and spotted Higgs leaning casually against the i hroom frame, arms folded and a smug curve playing on his lips.
The look in his eyes made it obvious–he’d already pieced together what had transpired, and he found
amusement in her agony.
“You were here? The entire time? Why didn’t you save me?”
Nadia had only regained consciousness minutes ago. Higgs‘ presence meant he might have even witnessed the
assault.
With a dismissive flick of his wrist, Higgs sneered. “Don’t pin this on me. When I showed up, the damage was done. I drove them away, though. You owe me.”
“Owe you?” Her voice turned venomous, eyes aflame with fury. His twisted sense of heroism made her blood
boil.
“Exactly. They’d have kept using you for who knows how long. I ended it. That counts for something, doesn’t it?” His grin was icy.

Though Nadia didn’t have Maren’s ethereal beauty, she was still captivating in her own right. Higgs had
definitely noticed.
If he hadn’t stepped in, those animals might have kept her alive just to prolong her suffering–or worse.
“I’m destroyed!” Nadia wailed, her voice shredded by sobs.
Higgs let out a derisive chuckle. “Come off it. You lost your innocence long time ago. A few more bodies won’t change that.”
“Easy for you to say!” she snapped. “What if Wilbur finds out?”
The thought of Wilbur learning what had been done to her twisted her insides.
“Wilbur?” Higgs cocked an eyebrow, amused. “Yeah, I know all about him. The guy’s a player. Dozens of girls. Why panic over this? Besides, we don’t say anything, who’s going to know?”
“But Maren already knows!” Nadia growled, hatred bubbling to the surface.
“That’s precisely why we need to work together to get rid of her,” Higgs declared, capitalizing on the moment to expose his real motives. He’d supported Nadia only after discovering her ambition to bring down Maren- and he’d dug deep into her history, especially anything linking her to Maren.
What he uncovered had left him speechless.
They shared the same father. Maren held the status of the rightful child, while Nadia was born outside the bounds of legitimacy. A tangled web of blood and resentment.
The more he uncovered about Nadia’s story, the clearer it became that she wasn’t naive either.
In their early clashes, Nadia had often gained the upper hand. But following her abduction, something changed in Maren. She returned sharper, more dangerous–far outmatching Nadia.
Despite relentless searching, Higgs couldn’t identify what had sparked the change.
Still, in warfare, the foe of your rival could become your greatest asset. With Nad ‘s burning animosity toward Maren, aligning with her could only strengthen his position.
And perhaps, he’d get his moment with Nadia too.
When Higgs laid out his offer, Nadia finally pieced together his reason for aiding her.
“Do have a way to deal with Maren?”
Though Nadia abhorred Maren and was drowning in hopelessness, deep down, she knew she stood no chance
alone.
Losing again had driven home the bitter truth–she wasn’t in Maren’s league.
She detested the vile men who had assaulted her. Her rage toward Maren burned even hotter. But the deepest wound came from knowing she was helpless. She lacked the strength to strike back.
“There’s always a way.” Seeing that his words had convince Nadia, Higgs smiled with satisfaction.
“Tell me what it is,” Nadia demanded, her voice shaking with urgency.
