The Love that Never Really Dies (Sasha and Sebastian) novel Chapter 1490

Chapter 1490 Dig Up Her Grave

Solomon finally saw Sebastian when he woke up.

He was stunned to see him and gripped the bedsheets tightly. His whole body was tense.

Haruto saw Solomon’s reaction and did not know what to say. He could only look at Sebastian expectantly, hoping that the latter would say something.

On the other hand, Sebastian did not show any emotions. He raised his eyebrows and asked, “How long will it take for him to recover?”

“What?” Solomon immediately looked at Sebastian in shock.

Even Haruto looked to Sebastian in confusion.

Why did he say that Solomon would recover? I never said something like that.

“Mr. Hayes, what are you…” Haruto said uncertainly.

“Do make sure that he doesn’t take too much time to recover. I’m a busy man, and I can’t wait for too long. Furthermore, you know how his wife’s world revolves around him. Dr. Shoki, perhaps you can do it this way. Since you have to research the medicine, you should let him go home first,” Sebastian said calmly.

What Sebastian said was so unbelievable that Haruto stood stunned on the spot.

On the other hand, Solomon’s expression brightened upon hearing Sebastian. He sat up on the bed immediately and asked, “Have you found the cause? Can you cure my condition?”

Sebastian frowned and said in an annoyed tone, “Why can’t it be cured? Your condition is just chemical poisoning. Have you forgotten how serious Sasha’s condition was back then? That’s enough. I have to go back. I finally found time to come to Jetroina. Yet, I have to deal with your problem here.”

He did not give Haruto a chance to say anything. What he said caused the latter to be stunned again.

Meanwhile, Solomon’s face turned scarlet instantly.

Sebastian did not come to Jetroina for me. He just happened to have some matter here. Then, Sasha found out about my condition and informed him. That must be why he is here.

Solomon felt emotionally conflicted.

However, he became much more relaxed after Sebastian left and asked Haruto about his condition.

Haruto did not know what to tell him.

He looked at him blankly for a moment before saying something perfunctory.

Then, he left the room and called Sebastian on the phone.

“Mr. Hayes, how could you say that just now? I never said that he would recover,” Haruto said.

“Mr. Hayes, your suggestion is unrealistic. They cremated his mother before burying her. Even if you dig up her remains, what can you find? Furthermore, even if she gave Solomon the drug, she wouldn’t try the drug on herself. Although she poisoned Solomon, she was careful not to get the drug on her. Even if you do chemical tests on her remains, you can’t find anything,” Haruto reminded Sebastian.

However, Sebastian sneered, “I’m not asking you to conduct tests on her ashes. I’m asking you to dig up her remains and put them on the black market with a description of Solomon’s condition, saying that there is a reward for anyone who can provide this drug. Forget it. You don’t have to do this. I’ll handle it. Just do your part.”

Then, Sebastian hung up.

Haruto was at a loss for words. He could not wrap his head around what Sebastian had said just now.

Sebastian is truly cold and ruthless. How did he come up with something like this?

Haruto finally understood how Sebastian caused such a stir in the country. Even a seasoned elder with decades of planning could not stand against Sebastian, a man only in his early thirties.

After that, Haruto stopped worrying about the matter.

That night, someone asked for him at the hospital. He requested Solomon’s detailed medical report.

Haruto was surprised by his request and quickly prepared the medical report. Then, all it took was one night, and he received the name of the drug in his email.

This is terrifying!

Haruto quickly gathered his things and hid in the lab.

Meanwhile, the Tsurka family was in an uproar over someone digging up a few graves in their cemetery overnight. They were outraged.
