The Lost Heiress: Never Forgiven (Sierra Xander) novel Chapter 536

Chapter 536 Blood on the Floor

“B*tch.”

Victor slapped her across the face.

At that exact moment, Sierra–who had finally managed to get a little sleep–was jolted awake by a call from Mateo.

“Sierra, something’s happened.”

Her eyes flew open.

Chase was still unaware of what had happened to Susie. He’d been busy these past few days dealing with internal affairs in the Wynn family. Since Susie had been spending time at the old estate, he assumed she was still there.

When he got Sierra’s call, panic immediately set in. Thankfully, Sierra kept her voice calm and steady as she reassured him:

“I’m already here. Don’t worry, everything’s under control.”

By then, Sierra had already arrived outside Victor’s residence with her people.

After what had just happened with Susie, the security around the place had become even tighter.

Sierra stated her identity. Victor refused to see her.

Sierra’s tone turned icy. “Hand over Ms. Autumn.”

She hadn’t come alone–several people stood behind her, making the tension spike instantly.

Just then, Maddox arrived, having rushed over after getting word of the situation. When he saw Sierra, he paused before walking over to her.

“Ma’am, I was informed you brought people to threaten Mr. Victor” he said carefully. “Please don’t make this difficult for us.”

As part of Victor’s security detail, Maddox was responsible for ensuring Victor’s safety–he couldn’t let anything happen to him. But facing Sierra, his confidence wavered.

Sierra looked him dead in the eye. “I’m not here to threaten Mr. Victor. But my mother is inside. I’m simply asking him to return her.”

Maddox’s eyes flickered at the word “mother.” Now he understood–Susie.

He’d already heard Susie had come to see Victor and that Victor had been injured. And now Sierra was here to take her away. But there was no way Victor would agree.

After a moment’s thought, Maddox said, “Mrs. Wynn assaulted Mr. Victor. I’m afraid we can’t let you take her.”

“You can’t let me take her?” Sierra replied coldly. “Then at least bring her out.”

“If she assaulted someone, then let the legal process take its course. Or what–are you planning on handling it with private punishment?”

“Are we now allowing a foreigner to take justice into his own hands against a citizen on our soil?”

“If this escalates, no one will be able to clean up the mess.”

Victor raised his eyes slowly. “Are you threatening me?”

“Of course not. I’m just explaining the situation,” Maddox said.

“Jonathan might be in a tough spot right now, but the Wynn family still stands. And the higher–ups haven’t decided to break ties with them yet

“She nearly killed me.”

Victor’s voice was icy. The rage bubbled just beneath the surface. What enraged him most wasn’t just that she’d stabbed him–but that it had been someone he never even considered a threat.

Maddox was speechless. He didn’t know the exact details, but he knew Susie’s personality. She must have been pushed too far. And this likely had everything to do with Jonathan.

He pleaded with Victor for a long time, but Victor refused to relent

As then a guard rushed in

Ab Vito, military personnel and the police are here. They’re demanding that we turn her over immestateh

Victor face contorted with fury. But no matter how angry he was, this wasn’t his territory

Seeing his expression. Maddox quickly added, “Don’t worry, Mr. Victor We’ll handle this fairly You will get justices
