Ben Hawk stared at Joey and said abruptly, “I was almost beaten to death, and you were behind it, weren’t you?”

Joey’s heart skipped a beat, but she shook her head calmly, “No!”

But it seemed that Ben Hawk hadn’t heard her. He said suddenly, for no reason at all, “Joey, come with me. Don’t think about the power and wealth of the Charles family anymore. Why don’t the three of us live a happy and peaceful life together? I’m begging you. We are young and we can make money. There’s no point in trying to use our baby to marry into a rich family.” Joey was confused, “Are you insane? I’ve never intended to marry into the Charles family with my baby. Don’t you understand what I said? The baby is not yours. I’m marrying Allen, just because I love him for who he is. It has nothing to do with the Charles family.
