Chapter269
Ever since Antonio realized that | only responded to the word "divorce" and ignored everything else he said, he started using this as an excuse to get close to me.
He often ordered takeout to my place.
| threw it all away, but he didn't give up.
He even threw away the takeout | ordered and replaced it with home-cooked meals he made.
He would also wait at my door to see when | would come out to get the takeout.
One day, after | ordered some takeout and was notified by the delivery man that it had arrived, | waited more than 30 minutes before opening the door.
Unexpectedly, Antonio burst in with some food he had made.
Sweating profusely, he even tried to sit on my couch.
| scolded him, and he could only stand at the door, saying, "Can't you just let me sit down for a while, considering that | spent so much time and effort cooking this meal for you?"
"No way!"
Antonio said anxiously, "You weren't like this before. Don't you feel any distress seeing me all sweaty?"
| couldn't help but laugh at his words.
| thought with mockery, "Distress? When | used to cook for him and sweat my way out of the kitchen, he would just say | smelled and tell me to get away from him.
"When did he ever say he felt any distress for me?"
| shook my head and tried to usher him out.
