The King Of Warriors novel (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 6790

Silence held the courtyard for a moment. Then the main hall's doors slowly opened, and a golden figure stepped outside.

Damian Shore wore a lavish golden robe embroidered with intricate patterns of seawater. The fabric gleamed beneath the moon as if currents flowed across it.

His features were stern and his chin tilted upward. Eyes like twin golden flames regarded Jared with a mixture of appraisal and amusement.

He held a cup of steaming spirit tea and carried himself with perfect composure, as though the battle before him were no more than a harmless interruption.

"Young man," Damian began in the leisurely tone of a superior observing a stray cat that had wandered into its cage, "you have ruined my plans again and again.

"Now you even dare cause trouble in my home. Have you truly grown tired of living?

"You escaped last time because fortune favored you. By coming back on your own, you've saved me the effort of hunting you down."

Jared faced him, his gray robe shifting in the night wind. His voice was deep-water calm but carried an edge it had never possessed before. "Release Mira. Otherwise, I will raze Azurewave Island."

Damian froze, then burst into laughter.

The sound echoed through the courtyard with the absurd disbelief of a ruler challenged by an ant. Leaves shook loose from nearby trees and flew through the wind like countless yellow butterflies.

"Raze Azurewave Island? You, a junior at Golden Immortal Level Six? Do you know my cultivation? I stand at the peak of Grand Zenith Immortal Level Two! You haven't even touched the threshold of Grand Zenith Immortal, yet you dare speak such nonsense before me?" Contempt covered Damian's face.

No answer came from Jared.

Instead, he advanced by a single pace.

The moment his foot landed, immense pressure erupted from his body. Gray light flowed around him like liquid mercury and covered him completely.

This was not the pressure a Golden Immortal Level Six cultivator should possess. It did not even resemble the might of Grand Zenith Immortal Level One.

The devouring nature of chaotic force merged with the gentleness and weight of Water Clan power, forming a unique and overwhelming presence.

A gray palm imprint appeared before Damian without warning. Fast as thunder and forceful as a charging stallion, it carried chaotic force's inherent ability to devour.

Like an invisible colossal hand descending from the heavens, it compressed the air around Damian until a piercing boom rang out.

The smile vanished from Damian's face. He flung away his cup and hastily condensed golden divine light into a shield before him, barely intercepting the palm imprint.

Boom!

The impact exploded through the courtyard.

Damian was driven back several steps. Web-like fractures spread through the flagstones under his feet like cracks in ice struck by a hammer, reaching dozens of feet in every direction.

His cup had been reduced to dust. Tea splashed over his magnificent robe and left a dark stain along its hem.

Damian's expression changed completely.

His pupils contracted as though pricked by needles. For the first time, uncertainty entered his voice. "You aren't at Golden Immortal Level Six? You've hidden your cultivation? What level have you truly reached?"
