The Killer Queen ( Noella Briony ) novel Chapter 439

Stirling stared at the massive dumpster before him, uncertainty flickering in his eyes as he glanced at Yasbel.

"Are you serious?"

Was her way of forgiving him really making him dive into a dumpster?!

If that was the case, Stirling suddenly felt maybe an apology wasn't necessary after all...

Yasbel nodded firmly.

"Seems like you're not really keen on apologizing. Guess you were just messing around. No backbone."

"If you're a real man, you'd jump in!"

Stirling took a step back. He felt she was just playing him, but he had no proof.

Tired of the back-and-forth, Yasbel smacked him on the back of his head, knocking him out cold, and dumped him into the dumpster.

As they spoke, several hitmen passed by them.

Stirling, his eyes rolling back, lay among the refuse, just another piece of trash in the bin.

Yasbel pulled her hat down to hide her expression and pushed the garbage cart away, disappearing into another room.

...

On the other side, the deck.

A group of hitmen gathered, puffing on cigarettes and discussing their target roaming the ship's corridors.

"My bug's been found. That guy's got his own hitmen for protection!"

"Wasn't that rich kid just an actor? Must be bodyguards hired by the Schnabel family."

Finn sneered, "Ha, what can those freeloaders do? I say, we take out everyone on this ship."

A bullet hit Finn squarely in the temple!

Blood sprayed instantly as a masked woman with a handgun stood above, her gaze icy as she surveyed the dozen hitmen below her.

"It's Obelisk Organization!"

Noella's expression was cold, looking at them as if they were nothing but rotten fish.

"Soaring Bird likes breaking rules that much, huh? Looking to get wiped?"

The hitmen were both shocked and angry, "Wise Fool, this is just a small-time job. Why the interference?"

Silenced bullets flew, piercing through the hitmen's chests.

They fell, the previously indignant man now just fodder for the fish.

"It's been a while since someone spoke such nonsense to me."

Noella's contemptuous gaze swept over the remaining hitmen.

"Soaring Bird won't be flying any longer."

"Wise Fool, don't think Obelisk Organization can afford to be arrogant. Abyssal Organization's here too. You're biting off more than you can chew!"

"Oh, really?" Noella smirked, a chill in her voice.

"I don't care about Abyssal Organization, but your hides are mine."

The hitmen were sweating bullets!

Before even seeing their target, they were about to be taken out by Wise Fool. What a waste!

"Wise Fool, you're breaking the rules!"

"Rules? In my game, I am the rule."

Faced with Noella's disdain, the hitmen trembled with fear.

"Don't panic, she's alone. No matter how tough she is, if we all attack at once..."

From the depths of the deck, members of Polaris Star casually observed the hitmen, carrying boxes and grinning.

"Sorry, though our boss could take you all on alone, she's not by herself."

Ivan nudged Nolan beside him.

"Speak nicely. Our boss isn't alone, or what? Is she a dog? Ah, boss, no offense..."

Noella rolled her eyes at them.

"The chairman of Pollack Group is only worth ten million?"

"Mr. Pollack's bounty rose to thirty million."

They were unaware that Noella was also aboard, the stakes raising on Stirling and Palmer.

On the borderlands, where lawlessness reigned supreme, mercenaries killed without conscience, all for the almighty dollar.

This time, the price on the target's head was enough to turn them against each other in a deadly race for the bounty.

Noella, with a smirk, whipped out her smartphone and posted a message using her notorious handle.

"Anyone who tries to beat me to the punch is a dead man walking. Wise Fool."

The deep web erupted into chaos!

Killers lying in wait on a luxury cruise ship saw the message and cursed under their breath.

Did Wise Fool really think she could dictate terms here on behalf of the Obelisk Organization?

Such arrogance!

A man wearing a Dog-Head mask chuckled darkly as he read the message.

"Well then, looks like it's time to send Wise Fool packing. What a shame."

Nearby, a burly thug took a drag from his cigarette, a look of regret on his face as he regarded the masked man.

"Dog-Head, you'd do well not to underestimate Wise Fool."

"Thorpe, you've already lost. You're in no position to lecture me!"

Thorpe just shrugged.

"You think just because I lost, you can win? Wise Fool isn't someone you can just take out. Why won't you listen?"

"She's just a woman! There's no way a lady's going to have the deep web's assassins under her thumb! I'll kill her and make Soaring Bird the top crew!"

Thorpe took another drag from his cigarette.

"Hard to say, but good luck with that."
