It's no wonder Elara Schnabel had her doubts!
The resemblance between Noella's designs and those of the internationally renowned designer, Master Azure, was uncanny! Even the accessory pairings and the way the dress hems were pleated echoed Master Azure's iconic style. Many designers carve out their unique style, but someone like Master Azure, with his distinctive pleating techniques, really sets a benchmark.
Noella pursed her lips, calmly stating, "Yes, I'm acquainted. After all, my wardrobe is practically curated by Master Azure."
Indeed, Master Azure's designs dominated Noella's closet. Ever since the Schnabels noticed how stunning Noella looked in Master Azure's creations, there was no turning back! Before new collections could even hit the shelves, Kitai would receive a flurry of orders from the Schnabels…
Elara had an epiphany. "Noella, you're a genius! You've mastered Master Azure's style, something many aspire to but fail to achieve!"
A gentle smile spread across Noella's face.
…
In the main conference hall.
After changing, Noella found her seat and was instantly greeted with an array of her favorite snacks, courtesy of the Schnabels' concern for her and Elara's well-being. The room filled with chatter as the Schnabels reassured themselves upon learning the duo had gone to change. The hall, packed with invited industry moguls, buzzed with anticipation.
Palmer Pollack, exuding a familiar scent of cedar, unbuttoned his vintage suit jacket and took the seat beside Noella. Grasping her hand, his weariness seemed to vanish at her sight.
Noticing the dark circles under his eyes, Noella chided, "You didn’t have to rush back recklessly."
"I wanted to be back with you as soon as possible," Palmer replied, a sweet smile curling at his lips. His work ethic had shifted from laboring endlessly to rushing through tasks, all to return home sooner. The reason, and for whom, was unspoken yet understood.
"Secondly, the validity of the experimental data on human brain development, as reported by Principal Garrick, appears to be fabricated."
"Thirdly, Garrick had no authorization from Loadstar to publicize this report. That's a violation of rights!"
Someone rose from their seat instantly. "Ms. Schnabel, you're not exactly a scientist yourself. Questioning Garrick is one thing, but to cast doubts on the accuracy of Loadstar's report? You owe Loadstar an apology!"
"Yes, indeed! Loadstar's experiments are renowned for their precision. How could such fundamental errors occur? An apology is in order!"
With a light chuckle, Noella straightened her slender frame, her gaze unwavering. "An apology seems out of the question, because... I am Loadstar!"
