Dave Chou had long been immune to Annie's behavior. When Dave saw her climb an old tree to see the bird’s nest for the first time, he also had the same expression as Alan Hoyle, but this little girl could still laugh at him on the tree, and since then, he did not treat her as an ordinary child anymore.
This baby girl looked like a well-behaved and ingenious kid, but actually, she was sneaky and quite courageous.
Dave Chou stepped up the attack while Alan Hoyle was distracted. As a man mastering a martial art, while he was paying attention to all directions it was necessary to remain calm as well. If a man was disturbed, then he was giving his opponent a chance to defeat him.
"Excuse me." Alan had no intention of fighting anymore, because, at this moment, the safety of his daughter was most important, while Dave refused to let him go. Step by step, with fierce fists, he blocked the approach of Alan to Annie.
"Mr. Chou!" Alan Hoyle was angry.
Dave Chou smiled, "My apprentice can handle things herself, so Mr. Hoyle can stop worrying."
But that was his daughter, there was no way he could not worry, "So, you refuse to move aside, Mr. Chou?"
"Defeat me, and I’ll get off your face."
Hearing his words, Alan charged to him and they fought again.
Annie called from the roof, "Big beard, I will treat you to a big meal if you win."
Dave replied to her with a smile, "Oh the little apprentice of mine. Do you have money?"
"It's okay, this weird man here will pay."Annie licked the ice cream.
"Why me?" Alan snorted.
Annie answered naturally, "Because I'm a kid and I’m poor, while you’re an adult and you’re rich."
Dave endured the feeling to laugh out loud and raised his thick eyebrows provocatively at Alan, "What, you don’t have the money for one meal, Mr. Hoyle?"
Alan Hoyle said coldly, "I have, but I’m afraid you wouldn’t have the chance to eat, Mr. Chou.”
"What are you yelling? Mommy never yelled at me." Annie's pouted and was aggrieved.
Olive never yelled to her, because she never knew that her daughter was so bold, while on the other hand, though Alan’s tone was urgent.
"You the one to talk." Alan slapped her ass slightly.
Yet the little girl cried on this, and she said tearfully, "Y...you hit me. I'm telling mommy..."
Seeing her like this, Alan Hoyle felt both amused and annoyed, "Okay, okay, fine. It was my fault. Daddy’s wrong, okay? You can hit me back if you wan."
"No! I won’t hurt you at all. It’s not fair!" Annie collected her tears and walked forward.
Alan could not help but laugh, for this little girl of his was so adorable. He caught her up in a few steps and held her small body in his arms, "Still angry, huh?"
Annie said with a bulging cheek, "If you treat me with fried chicken, I will forgive you for spanking me."
