"Honey,Mommy will be back at the weekend.I'll bring you a big gift."

"What is it,Mommy.Can you tell me?"Annie was curious.

"OK,I'll wait for mommy to give me the surprise."Annie was happy.

Hanging up the phone,Olive made up a message for Alan,"Where are you now?"

There hadn't been a reply for nearly ten minutes,and she didn't know if he had seen it.

After meals,Olive found that it was still too early,so she just leant on her bed to watch TV.But there seemed to be no interesting program to watch.There were only some noisy entertainment programs,a lengthy TV play,and endless advertisements.

Suddenly a strange number called her mobile phone,then she pressed the answer key,"Hello,who is that?"

"Time to get up."The voice was soft.

Hearing the familiar sound,her heart was at ease,"I have finished eating meals.lf it wasn't for you,I would have been out for a walk.By the way,did you eat?"

"I've just settled down in the hotel.I decided to call you and then eat."

Then this was the number of the hotel room,"Ok,just go to eat something."

"Don't worry.Let's talk about something more."He didn't want to put on the phone.

"What do you want to say?"She rolled from the head to the end of the bed,lying on the quilt.

"Don't you have something to tell me?"

"It was you who said we should talk more."

"But I just want to hear your sound."

Olive thought for a while and said,"Annie just called me."

"What did she say?"Originally,Alan wanted to cultivate the relationship between his daugther and him in these days.He hadn't excepted that his baby was taken to the countryside by his parents.

"Shouldn't you ask what I told her."Olive was giggling.

Alan's lips turned up involuntarily,"Well,so what did you say?"

"I told her that when I go back l will give her a present."

At nine o'clock in the evening,Alan called her,and from his voice,Olive found that he was seemingly displeased,"Baby,won't you take the initiative to call me?"

"I'm afraid it's inconvenient for you to receive the phone call."She also wanted to call but she was just afraid that she would disturb him.They big bosses could talk about work in many places and at any time,not necessarily during working hours.They could talk in the company,on the table,on the golf course,and in the KTV.As long as they all were satisfied with the place,they could talk there.So she was afraid that when she called him,he was talking some business affairs with other bosses.

"Do you miss me?"

"Yes,I'm eating the apple you bought.It's so sweet.I'll leave one for you to eat when you come back."

"I just want to eat you up."Alan listened to her biting on the other end of the phone,as if he could see her cheeks bulging and her face that was like a red apple.

Olive turned her eyes,"You rogue.Why do you just think about those things all day long.Can you think of something else?"

"Apart from work,what else in my brain are to miss you and think about how to eat you."

"Hum,you can't eat now.Your mouth is not long enough."

"Don't stir me up.I will make you regret.You know what I mean,right?"In the background of Alan's telephone,there was a sound of the horn.

Olive's ears were perspicacious.She heard a little noise over there,"You are still outside?"

"I have just finished eating,on the way back to the hotel."Alan seemed to be reporting his whereabouts.

"Did you drink?"Olive asked.

"What?Are you afraid I'll lose my body after drinking."Alan smiled in a good mood,and teased her,as if they had gone back to five years ago.But the difference was that at that time it was Olive who teased him,and now he teased her on his own initiative.
