"You're awful!" Wolf exclaimed as he glared at Dalton.
Dalton's lips curved into a faint smile. "So, are you going or not?"
"Ugh, fine. I'll go." Wolf slumped his shoulders and walked inside.
Once Dalton confirmed he had gone in, he stood up and headed outside.
Jensen, who had already taken human form, was standing nearby. The moment he saw Dalton approaching, he hurried over. "My lord."
"Where is it?" Dalton looked at Jensen.
At those words, Jensen pulled a handful of candies from his pocket and handed them over. "The candies you asked for."
Dalton accepted them, not hiding the trace of a smile in his eyes. He knew Wynter had the habit of eating fruit candies. However, she hadn't had any ever since coming to Havenia. Hence, he had asked Jensen to bring back some of her favorites.
Dalton's fingertips slid across the candy wrapper. "What did you find out?"
Jensen spoke quietly. "My lord, I've been secretly searching for the item you lost back then. It may be connected to the sacred item you mentioned."
"Are you saying the sacred item is related to me?" Dalton's voice remained cool.
"Yes." Jensen lowered his gaze. "Everything that was lost in the mainland has already been retrieved, but you have yet to fully recover. What remains is very likely hidden here in Havenia."
Dalton straightened himself, his eyes lifting slightly. "I also sensed something pulling me toward it when I first arrived in Havenia."
"My lord, should we just go and take it back?" Jensen turned slightly to face Dalton.
Dalton's lips moved faintly. "Not yet. Someone else is looking for that item as well."
"Someone else?" A chill flickered in Jensen's eyes. "How dare they covet something that belongs to you? Do they have a death wish?"
"It doesn't matter." Dalton lazily lifted his gaze. "For now, continue with what you should be doing."
Jensen paused. "I came here with you and Ms. Quinnell. About her…"
"You don't need to worry about her. Just do your part," Dalton said quietly.
"Yes, my lord." Jensen's form shifted, wings spreading as he rose into the air.
"Then, I'll take my leave now. Please take care of yourself," Jensen said as he flapped his wings and flew into the distance.
Dalton withdrew his gaze and turned back toward the house.
Meanwhile, Wynter had already woken up. She rubbed her head and walked outside.
"You're awake." Wolf set a dish on the table. "Perfect timing! The food's almost ready. We can eat soon!"
Wynter nodded and glanced around. "Where's Mr. Leprechaun?"
Carrying a bowl and utensils, Wolf answered as he walked, "I don't know, either. He was just at the door a moment ago."
Hearing this, Wynter stepped outside and saw Dalton returning. "Where did you go?"
"I just wandered around a bit. Are you feeling any better?" Dalton's voice was calm and pleasant.
"Much better. I probably just exhausted myself with the acupuncture treatment I gave her." Wynter's eyes started clearing.
Wynter chuckled softly. "It was my first time treating eye disease, not my first time performing acupuncture."
"I never expected this… I thought traditional medicine had already declined. I didn't think I'd meet a miracle doctor like you." Elvira sighed.
Elvira knew this matter well. After all, she had previously taken Sadie to many hospitals. All she saw there were cold machines. A word from the doctor would determine a patient's life or death.
She had heard that traditional medicine could offer a chance, but she had practically searched all over Havenia for a practitioner and hadn't found a single one.
Wynter's gaze remained calm. "That's because traditional medicine is so rarely passed down that many of its techniques have been buried. Over time, modern hospitals, their doctors, and their machines became dominant.
"Since ancient times, traditional medicine has always existed, passed down through generation after generation.
"With Sadie's condition, I relied on the four main methods—observing, listening, questioning, and feeling the pulse—to judge whether she could be cured. It just so happened that it was possible."
Elvira nodded in agreement. "Indeed. If it weren't for you, I'd probably still be thinking of ways to take Sadie around in search of a cure."
Wynter arched an eyebrow. "Sadie hasn't fully recovered yet. I've written you a prescription. Go get these herbs, brew them in warm water, and have her drink it daily. In a month, her vision will be restored."
As she finished speaking, she handed a slip of paper to Elvira.
Elvira received it and tucked it into her pocket as if it were a treasure. "Thank you, Wynter. There's little we own that can repay such a debt."
"It's fine. This meal is more than enough." Wynter's voice was calm, a hint of gentleness in her eyes.
"That won't do. From now on, I will do my utmost to help you if you ever need anything!" Elvira said firmly.
Suddenly, Wynter seemed to recall something. "Actually, there is something..."
