The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2616

After all, Frank was supposed to be Tarkan's next target, so he knew what Frank would look like.

"Not bad, you actually know my face… It's such a shame!"

"What is?" Tarkan was left puzzled.

"You, of course. You have both wit and strength, but you had to take such a terrible path."

Frank sighed, earnestly disappointed in people like Tarkan. "And now, I have no choice but to kill you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Tarkan growled, incensed. "Are you saying that I'm definitely going down?"

"Correct!" Frank smiled, nodding.

"You asked for this!"

Tarkan attacked Frank right then, moving so quickly that neither the Ghostly Six nor Ezel could catch up!

On the other hand, Frank was parrying all of Tarkan's blows with relative ease, even effortlessly!

And realizing he would not win in martial arts, Tarkan backed two steps away and aimed two fingers at Frank. "It's been a while since anyone has forced me to use this—you're going to die, but consider it an honor!"

As golden radiance sparkled from his fingertips, Frank exclaimed in exaggerated delight, "Wait, I think I've seen this before! Though I'm curious… does Midas shit gold too?"

Tarkan laughed coolly. "Keep running your mouth, since you're not running away from this!"

With just a thought, Tarkan shot a golden beam at Frank, but it faded out just inches away from Frank!

"I see!" Tarkan snorted. "I've underestimated you, Mr. Frankton… You're the strongest opponent I've ever faced!"

"I guess you have good eyes!" Frank spoke from the light just as he finished.

Tarkan was left shaking his head in bewilderment. "N-No, that's impossible! How did you survive that?"

Frank laughed coolly. "Aren't you satisfied? If I didn't want to show you that you couldn't even scratch me, I wouldn't have taken your challenge blow by blow.

"After all, I can kill you anytime!"

As the beams faded, Frank appeared before Tarkan in a flash, leaving him pale and crumbling from the inside. "W-Where did you get such power?!"

Frank brandished his ring. "I won't lie to you. It has everything to do with this! Naturally, you're not going to win even if I didn't have it, because you're no threat to me at all!"

Then, chuckling, he asked, "Are you going to do it, or should I? Just so you know, you'd understand cruelty if I had to do it!"
