Frank nodded. "If it pleases you."
Soon, a Rolls-Royce stopped outside the restaurant, drawing everyone's stares.
Three bodyguards alighted and dashed inside, bowing their heads respectfully at Plum. "Sorry for being late, Ms. Zitch!"
Plum rolled her eyes but did not snap at them—it was not their fault, as she had been too ignorant and unaware that martial elites existed.
Turning back to Frank, she asked, "If it's possible, may I hire you as a bodyguard?"
"No ifs. The answer is no."
"I can pay you very well!"
"Just come to me if you're in trouble, but forget hiring me as a bodyguard. Also, enjoy your breakfast—I'll be going now, since I have other things to do."
"Wait!" Plum whipped out a business card and passed it to Frank. "Come find me anytime!"
Frank nodded to leave, but Plum stopped him again, as she knew Frank saved her to be rewarded and would most definitely not contact her. "Can I have your number?"
"Sure!"
While Plum was relieved to have Frank's number, Frank ran into Jouri Yelin soon after he stepped outside the restaurant.
"Oh, if it isn't Mr. Frankton!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing out here alone? It's early, but there should still be hotel rooms available. Why not be nice to yourself and let the lady give you her body as a reward?"
Frank did not get annoyed since he knew Jouri too well. "I can't leave Shagan, so it's up to you to root out that syndicate."
"I could lure them to Shagan if you want."
"Couldn't ask for more!"
"I'm a coward who loves being alive, don't worry."
Soon after Jouri left, Rina came looking for Frank.
"Thank you so much for this, handsome. I have no other way to thank you, so take this!"
Rina put her bag on the ground, unzipped it, revealing the sculpture of a head!
Frank was shocked, as the sculpture resembled the one he had found at that canyon.
Could this be the missing head?
"Where did you get this?" he asked.
"I found it at home back when I was younger." Rina shrugged. "I didn't think highly of it and even used it as a chair. Later on, when I showed it to a livestream appraiser, he said this was an old relic and worth a lot of money!"
