The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2512

Frank soon returned to the homestay cottage and found Jada and Moxxi arguing as soon as he entered.

"Perfect timing—Mr. Frankton is back! Let him be the judge of this!"

Jada immediately strode up. "I'm not belittling her, but she's terrible at what she does. She doesn't stop to worry about my side, and she keeps getting in my way!

"I would actually have been fine if she had meant to do it, but it's not even on purpose. There's just no way an idiot like her should be mentioned on equal terms with me."

Moxxi quickly defended herself. "Don't blame me! Don't listen to her, chief—she's messing with my work on purpose and complaining even before I can!"

Frank was not interested in their argument, though it was also right to see he could not rein them in.

Anyone with a brain could see that neither cared about reason and just wanted to argue, and the winner in such cases would be the louder or even more unreasonable one. As such, Frank's best option was to let them sort it out themselves.

Nearby, Hana Pearce was on the couch reading a book, beckoning when she saw Frank.

Frank went over. "What's gotten into them?"

Hana smiled. "Oh, nothing much. I'm just impressed by those two ladies—they really worked fast. The investigation is finished, so I'm thanking you ahead of time!"

Frank chuckled, shaking his head—as long as the job was done.

"So, who was it?"

"A small cell called Riverarch Sect!"

"Riverarch Sect?"

"Just some river worshiping fools who want to revive their so-called deity. They massacred anyone in their way and are responsible for every type of evil out there… naturally, their deity doesn't exist. It's just an excuse to kill."

Frank nodded—he had heard of such cabals formed by anti-social folks, and it was easy to handle them.

That left Frank even more puzzled. "You mean the spiritron vein is asking me to go there?"

Alda nodded. "Most likely!"

"The spiritron vein?"

Hana's eyes lit up, since she was quite curious about that power. "I have time on my hands, so why don't I go check it out with you?"

"I'm fine either way." Frank shrugged, as he could protect her while winning any situation anyway.

In the afternoon, they arrived at Springbloom Avenue, and soon found that Number 122 was a quiet bar that interestingly served actual food.

Frank took a peek inside and was about to leave since he saw nothing interesting, but Hana stopped him.
