Chale had handpicked over twenty martial elites for his entourage, but they did not even last one hit against Frank!
In fact, they were all lying around, groaning and moaning in pain—almost no different from the poachers Frank killed.
Was this what the real champions were like—that all things bent to his will?!
"Who are you, really?" Chale blurted.
Frank smiled. "Just an ordinary man!"
Chale smiled in wry amusement—an ordinary man?
If he really was one, no one could even claim themselves a martial artist!
"A bet's a bet," Hana said just then. "So, are you letting him audit your clique?"
Chale frowned nonetheless. "I don't get it. Why do you insist on letting in an outsider? If he takes over our Zephyr Hall and reduces you to a figurehead, what are we supposed to do?"
Hana snorted in annoyance. "Quit being so full of yourself! If you really know him, you'd actually know why I'm letting him take the reins! His Mystic Sky Guild is way more terrifying than us too, so he wouldn't stoop to that level!"
While Chale was speechless, he also realized that Hana had a point.
At Frank's level, even his subordinates could be unparalleled champions. That meant they could easily massacre Zephyr Hall, so why would they covet it?
Still, the thought saddened Chale.
He understood that Zephyr Hall was actually no big deal in the country, but he was still shocked that some anonymous fellow made them look like ants.
There really always was someone better as they said, though this one achieved what Chale could only hope to achieve in no time at all.
Damn it all! To think someone had used his backup plan against him!
Chale certainly regretted everything—if he had known that Hana was that agreeable, he would not have brought those explosives at all!
And now, not only would Zephyr Hall fall, but both he and Hana would be resting in pieces!
Even as he felt utterly helpless, the helicopter suddenly froze, its rotor blades stopping as it slowly landed.
Chale turned and gaped as he saw that Frank had a hand up—the man had just saved them!
Was everything Hana said the truth? That he could crumple a helicopter like it was paper?
"Feast your eyes open a miracle, old man." Hana walked up with a sarcastic smile. "That right there is a real champion, and one far above us!"
