Since there were crowds everywhere in the water park, the human traffickers would prowl here, catching victims unawares.

Seeing that Dawn knew Jojo quite well, he started to turn and leave.

"Wait!" Dawn strode up, intercepting him. "Where are your accomplices?"

"Accomplices? What accomplices? It's a misunderstanding, ma'am!" The human trafficker threw his hands up innocently.

"Do you take me for a fool? Call them here and turn yourself over, or I'll make you!"

"You'll make me? Really? Move, or I'll make you!"

The human trafficker laughed in amusement—a woman was actually trying to flex on him?!

Frank strode over right then, shielding Dawn behind him.

The human trafficker laughed. "It's a tough life out there, pretty boy. Don't pull a muscle now."

Frank punched the man to the floor right then—he despised people like him the most. "Answer her question!"

"That's so cool!" Jojo applauded in approval.

The human trafficker was certainly a lot less enthusiastic, just as he soon realized that he was in trouble since he could not even get to his feet.

"Bullshit!" the security guard bellowed. "I'm maintaining order here, and you have an obligation to cooperate!"

The crowd agreed. "Don't push it, kid. It's time to stop."

That left Dawn infuriated, and she snapped, "We're not pushing it! That man tried to trick us, saying that the girl is his daughter! If she hadn't told us before, she would've been kidnapped!"

The human trafficker quickly cried, "She's lying!"

"We'll see!" Dawn smirked and scooped Jojo up while encouraging her. "Go on. Tell everyone what just happened."

Jojo said sheepishly, "H-He said he's my father! He wanted to take me away!"

Seeing the crowd quickly turning against him, the human trafficker exclaimed, "Don't believe that brat! They're all obviously in this together!"

Frank nodded. "Fair enough—that's exactly it. So why don't we call the cops and see if they'd help you out here?"
