Frank chuckled. "Just wait and see."
Jada sighed in relief, while the dame soon returned.
Jada swiped her card on the dame's card machine, and seeing a hundred grand on screen, the dame exclaimed in joy. "A moment please! I'll get that couple to leave right now!"
After she left, Toto approached Jada, saying, "Ma'am, I'm not trying to badmouth that bitch, but she's really disgusting. You'd have to watch your back."
"No, you misunderstand," Jada quickly said, "We're just messing with her—don't worry, we're staying with you!"
While Toto was left utterly confused, they heard the young man in a suit yelling from the opposite cottage, "You greedy hag! Fifty grand?! Why don't you just rob a bank?!"'
"Oh, just admit you can't afford it! Quit pretending like you're rich if you're not!" the dame retorted, not at all embarrassed by her own actions.
"I don't care about money! I care about principles!" the young man snapped. "We agreed to eight grand per day, and you're raising the price on the spot!"
"I own this cottage, so I can raise the price however much I like! It's none of your business, and like I said, quit pretending like you're rich if you're not!"
"Fine! You win! But just you wait, I'll shut you down soon enough!"
"Sure, I'll wait!"
As the young man and his girlfriend got into their Audi and sped off, the dame grinned broadly as she returned to Jada. "So, shall we move your bags over?"
"Move? Move where?" Jada exclaimed in feigned surprise. "Everyone, didn't we agree to stay at Toto's cottage?"
The dame laughed. "Oh, you're a riot! You already paid a deposit!"
"Really?" Jada shrugged. "I guess. But I have all the money I could spent, so I can throw it away however I like!"
"Lie to you? Who did?" Jada retorted. "Also, we never asked you to chase your guests out… What's the saying? You reap what you sow!"
"You bitch!" The dame leapt forward, ready to attack, but Jada stopped her with a single glare.
Damn it! She could not win in a fight and had no cause to argue! What could she do now?!
"Just you wait!" the dame shrieked nonetheless. "I'll get other guests anyway and make sure your stay is uncomfortable!"
Jada did not even look her way. "You said it! Don't go back on your word now!"
Feeling accomplished, Jada turned to smile at Frank. "Was that good, Mr. Frankton?"
"Not bad." Frank nodded. "People like her deserve that!"
