The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2415

Frank smiled in wry amusement—Jada's kiss was really unnecessary, and she was actually just seizing an opportunity.

But that was fine, as Jada had more than proven her loyalty, and he could pretend it was a reward after she worked for him for so long.

As Demi returned to her seat with him, she flashed a big thumbs-up at him. "You really can't tell from appearances—you're a real box of surprise!"

Frank smiled but said nothing—one could pretend to be poor but actually should not be.

Demi then continued, "Thank you so much for helping me. Can you leave me a number? I'll buy you lunch if I can."

Frank nodded. "You can call me if you're in trouble in the future too," Frank said. "I'm not local, but I'm obliged to protect anyone. I won't shirk from such moral responsibility."

"Thanks!"

After the two traded numbers, Demi seemed to be planning to stay and tried to ask about Frank's identity.

However, it was almost time, so Frank cut her short, concerned that Demi would ruin his plans. "Sorry, but I'm waiting for someone, and she might be here soon, so…"

Demi was not tactless, and she stood up. "Let's stay in touch."

Soon after Demi left, the waitress brought Frank the six cups of coffee that he had ordered while winking at him.

He really was not her type, and he was freeloading off a woman at that, but the man knew how to eat!

With a girlboss as his sugar mommy, he would not be short on money, which was why the waitress was eager to hook up with him.

That was not all either—other ladies could see what the waitress was up to and got the idea, and they started toward Frank…

Five minutes later, a tall, blonde woman with blue eyes dressed in a black dress strode into the cafe.

A vivacious woman like here was rare even in the city, so she was ready to receive stares of envy, even jealousy.

"No." Frank shook his head. "Why would you say that?"

"Then why are you suddenly so popular?"

Aina was absolutely mystified, though Frank was sneering too—he was surprised at how forward ladies could be and actually had trouble holding back.

Fortunately, Aina liked to jump to her own assumptions and did not sense anything suspicious, or the jig would be up.

"Anyway, back to business," Frank said. "We got what you asked for, but I'm not bringing it along. You can come with me to get it."

"Sure."

Aina got up to leave with him.

Seeing that Frank was leaving, the other cafe guests quickly stopped him. "Wait, sir! Why don't we exchange numbers and stay in touch?"
