Alda's first words left Jada's jaw almost dropping.
She knew that Alda had a connection to the spiritron vein, and that she was Frank's link to the spiritron vein, leading to Frank finding it and taking ownership.
However, the conflict with BM Group did not seem to be connected to the spiritron vein, so why was it meddling now?
"Are you sure you remember right, Ms. Ingram?" Jada asked, skeptical.
Alda nodded confidently. "There's no mistaking it. I saw the golden dragon!"
Frank chuckled coolly. "Then it must be the spiritron vein. What's the message it asked you to relay?"
Alda, however, shook her head. "I don't think it talks, since it didn't respond no matter how I tried to talk to it… Instead, it projected an image of you and the words BM before fusing both together."
Frank and Jada traded glances—that was quite the simple message from the spiritron vein, as it wanted Frank to cooperate with BM Group!
"Hold on, I don't get it." Jada rubbed her temples. "It could have just told Mr. Frankton, so why would it use you as its messenger instead?"
In fact, the spiritron vein reminded her of those pretentious big-shots in certain novels, acting like they were amazing when they were really insignificant, and people presumed that they were the real deal just because they did not talk much.
But the spiritron vein should not have any reason to do it, as it cheapened it!
"I think it's threatening me."
On the other hand, Frank's opinion was completely different from Jada's.
The spiritron vein was not trying to be theatrical—it was clearly demanding compliance.
Frank's annoyance aside, he had no idea what it was about BM Group that merited the spiritron vein's respect, let alone coaxed it into doing this.
Even if BM Group mercilessly denied them any chance of getting payback, the others were not exactly zealots who went the extra mile for them.
And if everyone went on strike, whose success would one steal from?
Frank flashed a pained smile—he was certainly screwed over, in spite of his thorough preparations.
Now, even if crushing BM Group was easy, he ultimately had to compromise, even if he did not want to do it.
The spiritron vein really was a strange entity, and Frank was keen to see what it was up to despite his indignation.
As the man chosen by the spiritron vein, it definitely would not hurt him, which was why its opinion should not be neglected either.
"Either way, you're taking the trip back to BM Group—rest assured, I'll guarantee your safety. It's fine if you can't trust others… I'll just disguise myself and meet them with you!"
