Nonetheless, seeing that Frank was silent, Nadia pressed, "Shall we?"
"Sure," Frank replied.
He did not like Sayna, and they were sisters, but they were each different people, and Nadia could not be faulted for that.
Moreover, Sayna had yet to actually do anything out of line, aside from running her mouth. Even if Frank was ruthless and determined, he did not kill on a whim.
"Great! I'm taking part in a dirt bike rally tour in the afternoon. Would you like to come and watch?"
As she asked, Nadia moved closer to Frank, while Sayna tactfully made way for her.
Despite her generosity, Sayna was actually a little jealous—if it was not for her father stubbornly insisting on her engagement with Uran before, she would be the one here flirting with Frank!
There was no helping it in this case, as fate could be a cruel mistress… though if she could not marry Frank, they were all young and energetic. Chastity be damned—fooling around was acceptable too.
Still, Frank shook his head. "I'm busy in the afternoon."
"Come on!" Nadia pouted. "I'm telling you, I can really ride a bike. And with your cheer, I'd definitely win!"
Suddenly, Jada joined in too. "Mr. Frankton, as your subordinate, this is one of the occasions where I find it necessary to butt in. What could be more important than Ms. Nadia? You should go!"
Frank frowned and shot Jada a glare.
What was that supposed to mean? And was she not hostile with Sayna earlier? Was she now stabbing him in the back?!
He naturally failed to understand that Jada was helping him with wife-hunting. It was always a waste not to accept a lady basically gift-wrapped for him!
It went without saying that Frank was astonished.
Forget Jada messing with her—what could have gotten into Alda now?
Alda merely smiled slyly but said nothing.
She could read Frank's mind too, but as long as her spot as queen consort was not threatened, she would be helpful instead of protesting against further additions to his harem.
It was normal, if not an outright cliche, for men in high places to take up mistresses. However, while such cases would see the place of a legitimate wife being threatened, Frank was really amazing in comparison, as he always stayed with Alda despite all his other women.
"Alright!" Frank nodded in exasperation, while Nadia grinned ear-to-ear.
Sayna was delighted too. Her jealousy aside, it worked for her, as long as Frank would marry a Quill. When that happened, forget Shagan—Quilldom Inc. would rise to new heights even among other corporate giants in the country!
