The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2241

Frank chuckled. "And what can you do aside from archaeology?"

"Punching and kicking!" Sylvie retorted.

"Alright, keep going!"

"That's all… wait, there's one more! I have good eyes, and the people I like would never humiliate me!"

Frank laughed in amusement, just as Jada came up to him. "Let's drink to your health, Mr. Frankton."

He was both her boss and master, so she had to at least salute her once, if only just to leave a good impression.

Frank smiled. "I'll be counting on your help."

They clinked glasses, and Jada chugged hers, coughing after she did. Since she was in a high position and social drinking was unnecessary for her, she was not used to it now.

"That's not like you, Ms. Turin," Alda teased. "You should be a tougher girlboss."

"You're joking, Ms. Ingram." Jada smiled. "I'm only human, so it's natural that there are things I'm bad at. I hope everyone understands!"

"It's alright." Sylvie nodded cheerfully. "We're all friends—don't worry about it."

Jada smiled but said nothing—she could certainly be friends with Sylvie and the other girls, but she would still have to maintain proper manners when she was around Frank.

A waiter entered, looking flustered just then. "I'm sorry, Ms. Turin, but there are people outside threatening to wreck your car!"

"What?!" Jada glowered and hurried downstairs, where she found a dozen thugs encircling her Rolls-Royce outside.

They were not doing anything, however, and merely stood in formation around it, seemingly waiting for her.

Though they had already heard that Jada could fight, they doubted that she could handle a group of men alone… but it turned out that it was all true!

"Now run along and tell Urich to come see me if he has a pair." Jada snorted. "What's so impressive about hiding? Go, now!"

The thugs were terrified and promptly turned and fled.

Sylvie, who had just rushed to the scene, was left applauding. "That's Ms. Turin for you! That's some sweet moves!"

Jada simply smiled at her while walking up to Frank. "I'm sorry for ruining the party, Mr. Frankton. But don't worry, I'll sort out this mess in a day."

Frank shrugged. "It's alright. I entrusted the matter to you, so I won't blame you even if you messed up."

Jada smiled but said nothing.
