Sadie ignored the rider and moved on to his partner. "Would you like what he's having?"
The rider was terrified and quickly shook his head. "I-I'll talk! It's a man named Wilhelm Joens. He told us to do this!"
The other rider was incredulous. "Are you crazy?! How are we going to stay in business now?!"
"The business?! Is that all you understand?! I prefer not to be laughed at for just having one ear!"
The two riders clearly had different priorities between loyalty and survival.
Still, Sadie pressed, "Where is Wilhelm now?"
"Cranberry Apartments! Unit 302 on the fourth floor of Block C!"
"Good."
Sadie patted the man's head encouragingly and rose to her feet. "Are we going back to Golden Lily first, or do we go looking for Wilhelm?"
Frank sneered. "All debts must be paid!"
Sadie smiled and nodded, and the two riders were left trading glances as they remained on the ground, watching as they left.
They were only told to harass those two, only for them to turn out to be such ruthless characters.
Wilhelm had definitely stirred the hornet's nest now—it was really over for him.

Meanwhile, at the glamorously furnished living room of Wilhelm's apartment, the man in question had two pretty ladies in each arm.
As he enjoyed the ladies pampering him, it went without saying how jealous his dozen goons standing at the back were.
That was why people often used the expression 'living like kings'...
Wilhelm stopped his goons who were ready to attack, leering at Sadie from thread to toe as he grinned.
"Little lady… you're pretty damn hot! Your mother really did a good job!" He chuckled, pushing away the two ladies in his arms.
Sadie snorted in exasperation and disgust. "Fight if you want. Why talk so much?"
"Fight? Oh, but I can't bear to fight you." Wilhelm grinned, spreading his arms. "Come to me, let me have a proper taste!"
Sadie could kill him on the spot right then, but she had questions. "Why did you attack me and Master Lawrence?"
"And why do you have so many questions?"
Wilhelm snorted. "Someone obviously has beef with you and sent us to fuck you up. I just didn't expect you to come so soon, though it's fine, since I can now taste you, girl!"
He waved, and his goons encircled Frank and Sadie right then. "Word of advice, girl. Get down on your knees right now while you still can, or I can't promise anything bad won't happen to you later!"
