The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2202

Kiki only half-understood, but she turned to Frank just then. "Mr. Frankton, what about the money?"

"Why are you bugging him already? Does he look that poor to you?"

Meg almost broke down because of Kiki's sheer stupidity. "He did agree to wire the money in the morning, but there was trouble earlier, wasn't there? And what's with that attitude, acting like you're the boss?"

Frank actually realized with a start. "Oh, I almost forgot. I should wire you the money."

"Okay."

Kiki gave him a bank account number, and Frank wired a hundred million over—since it was a huge sum, it would only be released the next day.

At the same time, Kiki was counting in excitement. "One zero, two zeroes, three zeros… eight zeroes? Woah, you were all saying that Mr. Frankton is rich, but I didn't think that he's so rich he can wire an eight figure sum just like that!"

Ida Cahn, who had been making small talk with Kiki earlier, smacked her on the head. "Ten million? Were you so busy counting the zeros you forget that there's a 1 in front of the rest? That's a hundred million, dummy!"

"I'm not a dummy! I have a name—it's Kiki!"

"Only a dummy would have a name like that." Ida snorted and flicked Kiki on the head before leaving, leaving Kiki stamping her feet.

A bored valet came up just then. "What's this about a hundred million?"

"It's Mr. Frankton!" Kiki exclaimed cheerfully. "He transferred a hundred million into the company's account!"

"You're kidding!" The valet was clearly skeptical—Frank might be well-connected, but a hundred million was still a huge sum.

Even the Jarics or the Ingrams—the top families in town—would be left frowning when that much money was involved. It was really not something to be whipped out at will.

"Why would I lie to you? Look!" Kiki pointed at her screen.

Still, the valet spied a beautiful woman striding into the building just then and promptly greeted her, "Hello, ma'am. How can I help you?"

She stood at around five foot seven and wore a white dress that appeared loose, even old.

However, her presence was imposing, her face exceedingly special, and her figure bombastic, which was why the valet was left dumbfounded.

It was not just him either—even Meg was stunned as there really were not that many beauties of that standard.

Forget Jouri or Sally—even Alda, Meg herself, and Lara paled in comparison. A woman like that would definitely have a place in stardom!

"I'm here looking for someone," the woman said just then, her voice melodious yet unique, placing her above the rest!

Seeing that the valet was too stunned to speak, Meg strode up, not wanting to upset a guest. "May I ask who the person you're looking for is?"
