It was no flattery—Meg earnestly thought that Frank was amazing.
Still, they were both cunning, and Meg soon guessed that Frank was just doing this on purpose.
Smiling while being earnestly impressed, she said, "Let's play something else!"
Frank nodded. "Alright. I'm listening."
"I'll hold three dice and roll them as you watch. If I get a pair, the remaining dice will be my scorer… Like this!"
Meg flipped the dice cup bottom-up and threw the three dice into it.
Getting two threes and a five, she said, "That's five points!"
"Got it." Frank nodded. "So it doesn't matter what the pairs are—the odd one out is the score, and keep rolling if there are no pairs, right?"
Meg nodded. "One glass if you can't get pairs from three rolls, and you can pass on a score you don't like to keep rolling!"
Frank smiled. "Then what are you waiting for? Let's get started!"
Meg took the first roll, still impressed that Frank had managed to flip the dice without contact earlier.
However, this one was not as simple as rolling the dice—if Frank wanted to cheat, he must do it in a split second, when the dice landed!
There would not be a showdown moment where he could move the dice before opening it, so Meg knew that Frank could not cheat!
As the dice clattered, Meg threw her dice, getting three, three, and six.
Meg frowned—how?! She obviously used her technique to get the best score, but she got the lowest instead?!
Meg was left staring at Frank again, surprised that he was this good at a dice game aside from being a looker.
"My turn?" Frank asked, picking up the dice again.
Meg threw her hands up. "I give up."
She poured herself a glass and chugged it, knowing that she could not win.
She thought herself peerless especially in dice games, only for the man before her to corner her into using electronics.
How exciting!
"You first," she said.
Frank rolled up his sleeves. "Very well."
He pressed the start button, and the wheel spun, and soon the arrow stopped at 'one glass'.
"You're lucky!"
Meg could not help getting annoyed, seeing that 'kiss the person on your left' and 'confess to the second person on your right' were right beside it.
Frank chuckled as he raised a glass. "Can't cheat on that, nor do I intend to. Can't help winning either."
"What are you saying?" Meg quickly exclaimed. "There's no way I'd doubt you."
