This meant that Frank was on the right track.
People who could fight tigers bare-handed? They must be the ones he was looking for!
"Don't tell anyone I was here!" he snapped at Luis before heading to Torchwood.
It was a place of vices and debauchery, and the thunderous dubstep left Frank ill at ease.
But there was no helping it—he had to check this place out, and so, must create a distraction!
Picking up a bottle of beer, he dropped to a couch behind a booth seat and threw it to the other end of the room.
Once the bottle struck a pudgy man, Frank moved behind him and threw the bottle at the booth seat he had just left.
With that exchange and the dimly lit room, the two gangs promptly started fighting.
The bar manager promptly led his bouncers to stop the fight, while Frank seized the moment to sneak out, leaping out to the backroom.
Unable to hear any breathing, he decided that there was no one there and entered without hesitation.
The furnishings were quite antiquated although Torchwood was a typical modern bar, with old-fashioned ceiling fans and a curtain bed…
"Who's there?!"
Someone suddenly sat up on the bed, shocking Frank.
How was that possible?! He did not hear any breaths! Who could it be?!
No… Even as the person spoke, Frank did not hear him breathe!
That meant he was not breathing!
"Who are you?" The geezer on the bed coughed, getting out of bed fearlessly while he clumsily put on his shoes.
However, even before his fist reached the geezer, the geezer's eyes suddenly rolled up their sockets, and he was suddenly clutched his chest while staring at Frank in disbelief.
"H-How did you do this?!" he gasped.
"Do what?"
Even before Frank could press him, the geezer dropped dead.
A golden burst of light then shot out of geezer's mouth and entered the ring on Frank's finger!
Frank did not even have time to think as he promptly turned to leave, and was driving straight to Chandlerton before he finally realized what was happening.
That geezer was most definitely kept alive by the energy of the spiritron vein, while his ring was a container that absorbed that energy!
However, that also meant that the trail had gone cold!
