The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 2071

Frank could only smile in wry amusement, as there was nothing else he could do either. "Fine, it's a gentleman's agreement. Just don't break our promise later."

It was also just his luck he had to run into this bunch.

Later, even before 5 PM, one of the PR ladies knocked on his door, saying, "Mr. Frankton, our working hours are more flexible than the rest, and we have nothing to do anyway. Why don't we get started?"

Frank sighed as he rose to his feet. "Alright. Let me tidy up here, and I'll catch up!"

"Don't think about running away now!" The lady smiled mischievously.

Frank was not just exasperated at that point—he felt like he was a lamb, walking straight into the lion's den!

Still, just as he was done tidying, he stepped out to see Jason rushing toward him. "Oh, perfect timing! Come, we're attending a social dinner!"

"Wait, Mr. Chand!"

"Mr. Frankton and the rest of us are going drinking later. Don't be a buzzkill now!"

The ladies were suddenly in between them, and Jason flashed a knowing smile. "I see! Alright then, I won't get in the way. Just watch out, Mr. Frankton. These ladies are terrible!"

Frank nodded in exasperation, and he and the PR ladies were soon at the second floor of a restaurant.

One of them wore glasses and appeared to have some standing among them, making the orders before anyone else could.

When she was finished, she said, "That's all I need… What else would you like, Mr. Frankton?"

Frank shook his head. "You girls decide!"

"And now, we drink again," the lady in glasses continued. "From now on, we're a big happy family, supporting each other as we strive for wealth… and freedom!"

She once again took the lead and took her shot, while the others followed.

"And now, for the third toast… You see, Mr. Frankton, we're not all that educated, so we must ask for your understanding should we make a mistake! Criticize and scold us as you should. Don't hold back at all!"

And with that, Frank and the PR ladies all chugged the last shot, with Frank flashing a thumbs-up as he put down his glass.

These ladies were certainly professionals and veterans in the PR department, drinking nine ounces of liquor that packed a punch—anyone else would find it hard to keep up!

Fortunately, Frank's stomach for alcohol was depthless, and there was no way he would get drunk.

And after finishing the third toast, the lady in glasses approached Frank. "Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Linda Yates, and I'm twenty-five this year. Please take good care of me from now on!"
