"What?!"
Frank was delighted by the news Blackie brought and pressed, "Who is it? Where are they now?"
"He was a patrolman in the commissioner's residence!"
Blackie exclaimed, "He saw Podrick Daffey entering the commissioners room for a few minutes on the cameras, and he had blood on his hands when he left!"
"Wonderful!" Frank exclaimed—it was exactly the evidence he missed at the moment.
However, he remained wary despite his excitement. "Are you sure about this, Blackie? And why is he willing to testify?"
"Well, I heard that Podrick and Stanley Durban are trying to clean the house."
Blackie scratched his head and muttered, "Apparently, they're deleting the footage and killing everyone to avoid any problems!
"But the patrolman was a step ahead, saving the most important part of the security footage and fleeing before Stanley's men got to him!"
"And? What happened next?" Frank pressed, still not appearing convinced.
"And…"
Blackie smiled. "The patrolman approached one of my boys. It turns out that they know all about you being the chief of Mystic Sky Guild. That's why he's making you an offer—he couldn't stay in Draconia, so he's skiing for a billion dollars for a safe passage out of the country."
"A billion?" Frank frowned in thought, not because of the amount of money but whether Blackie's tip made sense.
It would be troublesome if it was Stanley's trap, but he nodded after some thought. "Sure. A billion really isn't a big deal—tell him right away that I'm ready to trade any time, and let him decide where to make the trade."
"Alright!"
On top of that, Peter reported that Tidus and Lizzie were having fun.
It really pleased Frank that they could be together despite their gap in their statuses, which was why Frank eventually refrained from calling Tidus at all.

The next afternoon, Frank brought along Kat and several elite members of Mystic Sky Guild and drove to the mountains where they had agreed to meet the patrolman.
It was very far from Zamri and as remote as it was described.
If the commissioner's patrolman wanted to hide, this was definitely the place.
Still, to avoid alerting his enemies in favor of stealth, Frank did not tell anyone about the deal.
