Moreover, Frank would really not start a war against the Zamri commissioner just yet either, since fighting important government officials would always be a risky move.
Naturally, he could use his own connections and his status as Governor Quill's maternal grandson to rein in the Zamri commissioner.
However, Frank did not like using his connections to bully anyone, not to mention that things were still frosty between him and Governor Quill.
With that in mind, Frank wondered if he should take up Stanley Durban's offer to be partners and assassinate the Zamri commissioner to be done with it.
However, that was not going to be an easy task either.
Nonetheless, as Winter and Frank arrived at the spacious lobby, they found it congested by over a hundred fully-armed officers.
Most of the patients were either chased out or kept confined to a corner, while a pompous blond brat sat with his legs on the receptionist desk.
The two nurses there were on their knees, gingerly massaging his legs.
Winter snapped as soon as she saw the blond brat. "You?!"
"Hmm…?"
The blond brat, Fredo Barzini, turned nonchalantly toward Winter and waved off the two nurses while yawning. "Long time no see, Winter Lawrence."
"What…"
Winter's blinked—Fredo was just here yesterday, threatening her into signing an exploitative partnership agreement!
And now, he had pompously barged in again, even making the nurses massage his legs.
It was an outrage!
She did a double take, seeing the scowl on Frank's face—he knew this already?!
"Winter Lawrence!"
Yannick himself was glowering as he emerged from the crowd, pointing and snapping at her while the patients and armed men looked on. "You are as depraved as you are scum! How dare you bring harm to the citizens of Zamri—don't you understand the shit you're in?!"
"I have no idea!"
Winter reared her chin, proud and dignified. "I've always done my duty as a doctor and adhered to the ethics of one. I guess you must be badmouthing yourself instead!"
"That's bullshit!"
Yannick leapt forward as he bellowed, "There was a safety incident here in Zamri Hospital yesterday, but you harassed me when I tried to confess everything to the journalists! Hell, you even fired me!"
