The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1931

"And that's the gist of it."

Two days after Frank had that run-in with Thousand Isles Guild, Silverbell, the chief of the Martial Alliance, personally came to Zamri.

Frank then told her the entire story of what happened, and after some thought, she concluded, "Well, they got their just deserts."

"Now, that's a little unfair since I'm at fault too."

Frank sighed, shaking his head in regret as he sipped the tear Silverbell brought. "That martial artist wouldn't have been killed if I had intervened earlier."

"About that…"

Silverbell sighed. "Although Thousand Isles Guild is one of our close partners, their reputation has suffered a blow as one of their members has committed murder in public.

"Naturally, Thousand Isles Guild would compensate the victim's family, so you don't have to blame it on yourself because it wasn't your fault."

"But aren't I the fiance of the chief of the Martial Alliance?"

Frank shrugged and smiled. "As such, the Martial Alliance could be considered half my asset, so don't you think I'm a part of this?"

"Frank…"

Silverbell's cheeks flushed at Frank's words.

She watched as Frank smiled in appreciation of her tea but soon appeared worried. "By the way, you shouldn't reveal your true strength unless it's absolutely necessary—like how you showed that your strength is above the Ascendant rank."

"Why?"

Frank did a double take.

Right now, he was not afraid of his old enemies who massacred Mystic Sky Sect—unless they all came for him all at once.

Frank raised a brow. "So, that means that the Zamri qualifiers…"

Silverbell smiled. "Yes, it will be combined with the Riverton qualifiers. There aren't many martial artists over there, so there are four berths available now."

"I see." Frank nodded.

That way, both Scarface and Mona would have a shot of qualifying together.

From that perspective, it was good news.

Silverbell then added, "I've already informed Mr. Zoran that your apprentices don't have to take part in the strength test—they can directly take part in the free-for-all instead."

Frank pursed his lips and scratched his head awkwardly, remembering the broken boxing machine. "Though I guess they can't take the test even if they wanted to…"

Silverbell smiled faintly in turn. "All thanks to you."
