The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1927

"Oh… Haha… Hahahaha!!!"

After a brief stunned silence, Sanne suddenly burst out in laughter. "That's our majordomo for you! Unleashing such terror from just one punch, he almost broke the Martial Alliance's custom-made boxing machine!"

When he was done laughing, she turned to level a smug glare at Frank. "How about that? You can still surrender now, Mr. Lawrence."

"Yeah… Why don't you concede, Mr. Lawrence?" Mr. Zoran asked, taking out his handkerchief to wipe the sweat off his brow. "If you do, the score would be one against one. A draw… so how about it?"

He was earnestly asking Frank to concede, since everyone would be happy that way.

Moreover, he was incredibly lucky that Tijil did not directly break the boxing machine, or the damage would be terrible for the Zamri Martial Alliance branch.

Seeing that Frank's party was quiet, Sanne went even further as she provoked them even further. "Weren't y'all so full of it just a moment ago? Why the silence now? Why aren't any of you hollering?"

"That's true."

Then, even as the members of Thousand Isles Guild looked on in contempt, Frank shook his head and calmly said, "That score is enough. So I concede, in order to protect the Martial Alliance's equipment, as well as the other martial artists present."

"What?!"

The members of Thousand Isles Guild were all frowning at Frank's calm surrender.

"You brat! I know you want to salvage some dignity, but you said it yourself: winning's winning!"

Tijil himself even strode up to Frank, glowering as he used Frank's words against him. "But since you're conceding, don't you dare use the excuse of protecting the equipment or others! Doesn't it make you laugh?!"

"Exactly! You're being completely insincere!"

"Did you really think you could beat our majordomo?! What a joke."

"Hah! He must have a few screws loose!"

"He has the balls to order us around?!"

Frank completely ignored the scoffing of the members of Thousand Isles Guild, however, instead staring fixedly at Tijil as he said, "I simply don't want to make a scene or make things difficult for everyone. So let's just put it to rest now, how about that?"

"I don't think so."

To everyone's surprise, Frank's attitude incurred Tijil's wrath too, and he snapped coolly, "I've traveled across every corner of Draconia, but you're the most insolent brat I've ever met. What, did you really think you could beat me?"

"Yes."

Frank sighed, seeing that Tijil was not accepting his olive branch. "I can admit that you're good, far surpassing my estimations. Hell, I might have to get serious if I want to beat you. But if I do…"
