Jean simply shrugged at Winter's question. "I'm fine either way."

"Actually… Let's not do that." Frank smiled, remembering Governor Quill's horrific presence just then.

Given Winter's meek nature, she would faint at the sight of Governor Quill.

Having learned that Megan refused to listen and that her haughty attitude got her infection worse, Jean smirked. "Well, she deserved it."

That was the familiar voice of a man boomed from the stairs, followed by a rush of footsteps.

Frank, Jean, and Winter turned to see that Alba Quill had returned, smirking and full of contempt.

With him was a white-haired man who looked around fifty, with a sharp cut on his lip.

The air around the man with the cut lip was certainly different and the polar opposite of Alba. In fact, his appearance alone left both Winter and Jean silenced, afraid to make a sound.

It went without saying that the man was Saul Quill, Governor Quill's eldest son and Frank's uncle, as well as the acting head of the Quill family.

WIth the soldiers following him, he slowly walked up to Frank, staring at Frank impassively. "So you're Frank Lawrence?"

"I am," Frank replied.
