The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1766

As soon as Frank and Madfist arrived in Bralog, they were greeted by the billboards and roadside banners. Every single one welcomed the arrival of foreign guests to an exhibition of Draconia's culture, with Droitner Inc. being specified as the chief sponsor.

Frank smiled—what a coincidence, as this really spared him from having to search for them.

He asked a random pedestrian about the location and headed over right away.

In Frank's mind, Huub was a dead man, as Frank would make him pay for all the atrocities he had committed in Zamri.

Meanwhile, Huub was stirring in bed when he received a call from one of his goons. "Mr. Droitner, we've received word from Lanecorp that Frank Lawrence is heading to Bralog with the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom."

"What?!" Huub was more delighted than surprised, and he laughed heartily. "I'm actually shocked… he's bringing it straight to me! Oh, what sincerity!"

However, his goon was instead concerned. "But don't you think it might be a trap, sir?"

"A trap?"

Huub chuckled coolly. "And how many people did Lanecorp send?"

"Just two… Frank Lawrence and an old chauffeur, and I think that's because Frank is too hurt to drive."

Huub could not help laughing again. "And you call that a trap? An old chauffeur and a man too hurt to drive?"

"Oh…"

The goon trailed off awkwardly, as what Huub said made perfect sense.

It was clear that she had changed her mind, as she believed Frank did not steal the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom, and that she was now convinced that Huub had brought a fake Bloodcrane Spiritbloom to trick her.

However, that was already besides the point now, as Huub now had hostages.

Helen might know the truth now, but what else could she do, aside from bringing the real Bloodcrane Spiritbloom in exchange for the hostages?

Huub was not worried at all and merely called up a few martial elites just in case.

One of them was Renard Zitch, who was with Huub during the raid at Cologne Court, beating both Kat Yego and Mona Fairfax.

With Renard's protection, Huub believed himself invincible.

So what if it was a trap, or if Frank was not really hurt? Droitner Inc. owned Bralog, and they had nothing but men to spare!
