Poking at Frank's cheek with his metal bat at Frank's face, he then turned toward his men and laughed. "Look, boys. I haven't done anything, and this brat is putting on airs to scare me off! You have some sort of death wish, don't you?"
"He's a pompous prick, Scorpion!" Jackie laughed savagely, still clutching his face. "Just beat him to death with the boys. I'll take responsibility!"
"Alright!" Scorpion nodded, but just as he raised his metal bat, the two security guards from earlier rushed up to them.
"Hold on, hold on, brother. It's the Clarke family's big day… There's no reason to spill blood now!" one of them pleaded.
"Yeah, exactly! It's bad luck for blood to be spilled at a wedding!" The other nodded repeatedly.
That was when Frank suddenly counted behind the two security guards. "Three."
Both of the two security guards were sweating down their forehead right then.
After all, they were well aware that Frank was Jaden Favoni's mentor—Jaden himself had even slapped them for a perceived slight!
If these thugs really started to get violent, Jaden was not going to play nice, and the wedding might even turn into a funeral!
And if the Clarkes wanted someone to blame, it would be these two security guards!
"Sir, just listen. Mr. Lawrence is actually—"
Before the security guard could finish, Jackie leapt up and kicked him to the ground. "Fuck you! None of you stepped in when he hurt me, but you're getting involved when I sick my boys on him?! Are you belittling me, Jackie Xinders, and the Airbreakers?!"
"W-We're not!"
Both of the two security guards could cry right then.
Scorpion clicked his tongue in disdain. "The Clarkes? They are just some rich businessmen at best, and if we Airbreakers want them dead, they would have to drop dead, no questions asked. Why should I play nice? Who are they to me—"
"One."
Before Scorpion could finish, a cool voice counted down to one.
He smirked and turned to find Frank lowering his finger, snorting. "Sheesh, you've finally counted down from three? So, are you going to do anything? Come on, show me what you've got."
"Urgh."
Frank sighed, shaking his head.
