Sil's goal was therefore to search and recover the spiritron vein near Frank, and only then could Titus really go all out against that man.
That was why the partnership with Rory against Noel and Frank was just secondary in importance.
No one else knew about that, however. It was a detail privy only to Sil himself and Grom Santi—the strongest of the Lionheart martial elites sent to infiltrate the city of Zamri.
However, what Sil did not know was that Grom and the rest of those Lionheart martial elites were killed, thanks to Chet Jonas working so hard to screw things up for Sil.
Only Chet was left alive, though he was now a turncoat.
If Sil knew, he would slap Chet to death on the spot instead of being so approving of drawing Noel to their cause.
"That's enough."
Sil stood up, waving Noel off with an impassive look. "I've prepared the crew and the equipment. You can prepare at the sub-basement, Rory—I'll send Ms. York over after a few questions."
Hearing what Sil had prepared, Rory laughed wildly as she left, "I'll be waiting downstairs, Noel. Remember, you have to make your debut for Lionheart Entertainment exciting."
Seeing how Rory was behaving, Noel quickly realized what Sil meant with 'crew and equipment'—she would soon be forced into some horrific, humiliating film.
Still, she was not worried.
After all, Frank and Gene were here, with the former hiding in the basement bar, while Gene and his men had the whole place surrounded.
Rory and Sil should be the ones worried instead.
Noel appeared dumbfounded, as she never heard of the spiritron vein.
Still, Sil was not surprised to see Noel reacting like that and calmly explained, "The spiritron vein comes in different forms—it could be a tiny trinket or a huge object. The bottomline is… Frank Lawrence had been carrying it around with him a while ago in Morhen, and then hid it at your studio park which I heard was under development. If you can think of anything, just tell me, and I will set you free."
"The spiritron vein…"
Noel could tell from Sil's tone that the spiritron vein was important, both to Frank and the Lionhearts.
He frowned slightly in thought, and soon came to a realization.
There really was something that Frank had been carrying around in Morhen, after which he entrusted to Noel—it was Kat Yego!
