Chet Jonas was a total bloodsucker, and if not for his connections to the Lionhearts, Urian would have had his men dismember him.
Still, before Chet left, Urian's assistant knocked on the door and announced, "Mr. Reno, there's a man and a woman outside, asking to see you."
"Asking to see me?"
Urian did a double take but soon pursed his lips and huffed. "Tell them to leave! Do I look like I'd meet just anyone?"
"But, sir…"
The assistant appeared awkward. "I don't recognize the man, but the woman is Noel York."
"Noel York…"
Various looks alternated over Urian's face.
After all, Noel was the top actress of Draconia, and her name was a bombshell to every Draconian citizen.
No man could resist like her—even Urian was gulping unwittingly even as he thought of her face.
Glancing at Chet, he flashed an apologetic smile. "Sorry, it seems that Ms. York must be here to talk business, like ordering some clothing. I won't bug you to stay in that case."
"What are you saying?"
Chet, however, was licking his lips and flashing a sleazy smile. "You shouldn't keep everything to yourself. I'm a Lionheart, but I'm a fan of Ms. York too—I have to see her since she's so close, right? It's been my wish for years, unless you're denying me that chance, Mr. Reno."
Urian and Chet's libido went into overdrive right then, even though Noel was not even wearing makeup. They froze up, forgetting to greet them.
While Noel took no offense since she was used to others looking at her like that, Frank was frowning because it was a ugly look for both men.
Anyone could tell right away what those two men were thinking, though they could not be blamed—not everyone was as determined as Frank.
One could only acknowledge Noel's charm as Draconia's top actress, and only Frank could resist it.
"Ahem."
Eventually, Frank cleared his throat audibly since both men had been staring at Noel for over twenty seconds.
