The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1451

The woman was furious that Frank was not afraid of Joven Loom or Crown Company.

"I warned you, brat!" she snapped. "Even the Four Families of Morhen have to show the Crown Company some respect! Kneel and apologize, or you could get yourself killed!"

"Wow, that's so scary," Frank replied, completely immune to her threats, even turning to level a look of contempt at Joven.

The rich kid was so drunk he was sitting limply on the road—he was exactly the type Frank despised.

At the same time, Joven was bragging, "D-Don't you know who my brother is?! He's Kain Loom, the Wild Blade of Cloudnine Sect. If you leave… I'll show you…"

Frank already had enough of the name-dropping and whipped out his phone.

He quickly called Trevor Zurich to send his people to handle the incident, while he left right away with Kat.

Even as he did, Joven was still snapping intermittently, "Get back here… Don't leave if you have the balls… Fuck…"

"Oh, calm down, Mr. Loom…" His girlfriend had to stay and take care of him since he was drunk all over the place and only snapped at Frank without really giving chase.

"Are we just going to let that slide, Master Lawrence?!"

Kat was pouting unhappily, having restrained herself through the whole thing.

"It's Morhen. Still waters run deep here, and one less problem helps," Frank said, though he basically avoided a confrontation because of Kat's presence.

Kat could tell that much and nodded tamely without complaining.

They soon got to a restaurant for dinner, after which a call from Vicky Turnbull came.

If anything, this return of the South Sea Crow had to be something else entirely!

And noticing Frank's surprise and confusion, Vicky became suspicious too.

"I get it," she explained. "But I'm not lying here—she sent a declaration of war to Turnbull Estate a few days ago, stating that she will come to wipe us all out. And the handwriting is identical from before."

"Weird…"

Frank rubbed his chin, but he was sure that Ciaran would not lie to him since it did not work in her favor.

He then had an idea. "Could the Lionhearts be behind this?"

"I'm worried about that too." Vicky sighed. "They might be conjuring up another South Sea Crow here, but either way, it means trouble. On top of that, rumors are circulating around my extended family that you and the South Sea Crow were in league, and what happened before was a staged act to keep us distracted."
