The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1416

"Name your price!" Liev barked, having gone through plenty in his years building a legacy in Zamri.

When he realized that brute strength would not work, he must negotiate a way out.

Whatever happened, he must not lose his son or his lineage ended here.

"Nope."

But contrary to Liev's expectations, Mona had no intentions to negotiate and shook her head. "Someone told me to watch Claude and keep him here until she gets back."

"So this is not up for negotiation?" Liev growled, incensed.

"That's right," Mona replied nonchalantly and got herself a chair to sit on.

Live turned toward Jet in turn and asked, "How long does Claude have?"

"How long…?"

Jet did a double take and quickly ran over to check Claude.

It took quite a while until Claude looked up blankly at Liev, and said, "He's safe… He's not going to die."

"What?!" Liev exclaimed in disbelief.

"It's true." Jet sighed exasperatedly. "I've checked—he had his balls kicked off, but the brat did so with precision, avoiding any major arteries. His veins and tissues are a jumbled mess, but he's not going to bleed out. So…"

Jet trailed off, gulping as abject horror seized him.

Being able to do so with such accuracy meant that the brat could hold her own, even among martial elites.

Both Liev and Jet were smiling at the same time—Percy certainly came quick!

"We're in the ICU ward!" Liev quickly replied and asked tentatively, "How many men did you bring?"

"Over two hundred people…" Percy replied smugly. "I'm bringing fifty along with me up here, while the others wait outside. We don't want to draw too much attention…"

"Fifty probably won't be enough…" Liev frowned at Mona, who remained nonchalant.

"Don't worry, Mr. Dresden!" Percy assured him. "A cousin just happened to be in town with something to do, and he's a proper martial artist himself! He also brought some strong friends!"

Jet and Liev's eyes lit up right then, and they smiled smugly.

They even shot Mona a look of pity—the brat's luck had really run out now!
