The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage novel Chapter 1398

Hearing Jane's rant, the two security guards who were laughing in the distance over their poker game promptly put on their caps and jogged toward her, Frank, and Mona.

"Ahem… Sorry about that, Ms. Liston."

They smiled awkwardly at Jane before wheeling on Frank and Mona.

Suddenly, their expressions were haughty and contemptible.

"Where did you come from, bumpkins?! Get out of here—we just cleaned the floor, so don't dirty it!"

"Shoo, shoo!"

Even as the two security guards were busy driving them away, Mona was gulping as she stared at the snacks on the table.

Turning toward Frank miserably, she groaned, "I'm hungry, Master Lawrence…"

The two security guards laughed right then.

What beggars would go to a luxury car dealership to beg for food?

Did they not see the cars on display before deciding if they were allowed to set foot in here?

Frank was in turn scowling as he demanded, "We're customers here to buy a car. Why are you chasing us away?"

He could understand that he looked bad after trekking down the hills to return to the city, but they were not even letting them in?!

"Buy a car?"

The two security guards traded glances but soon laughed.

The security guard laughed just then. "Wait, Jane—get a load of this. They're saying they're here to buy a car. It's hilarious!"

Jane turned to look at Frank but was soon rolling her eyes and snorting. "These two beggars buying a car? More like a donkey cart! Just leave already! Beat them up if they still refuse!"

The two security guards shrugged, sneering and mocking Frank endlessly. "You heard her. It's not like we're stopping you—she doesn't want you buying anything here."

"Bullshit!" Jane snapped at them. "Every car in here is worth millions. They wouldn't see that much money in their lifetime."

"Come on, we're just a little bored and playing with them."

Frank glowered in turn and punched the door deafeningly.

As everyone turned to him, he snapped, "You arrogant pricks! I'm buying this car right now, you hear me?! And I'm paying for it in full!"
