Flinging Peter on the couch, he bellowed, "You have three days. Get that land back at the price you sold it, or your head will roll!"

As Kit slammed his hand on his desk again, the doors of his office opened.

Two muscular bodyguards who stood over two meters strode in, as Kit pointed at Peter and snapped, "Throw him out of here!"

"Yes, Mr. Jameson," the bodyguards replied, then picked Peter up as if he were a cat and flung him out on the street.

"That's out of line!"

Peter snapped even as he pushed himself to his feet, dusting his clothes and yelled at Zomber Group's office building, "How could I have known that Zamri would build a highway that just happens to pass through that area?! It's all just a coincidence, but you're blaming it on me?! You dressed it up pretty, but all you want is to use me to buy that land back!"

"Peter Lane." One of the bodyguards strode up to him, folding his arms before his chest as he snapped coldly, "Mr. Jameson says you have three days. If you can't get every inch of that land back, you'll be dead by then!"

"Hah!" The other bodyguard chuckled. "A loser like you is telling Mr. Jameson what to do?! He hasn't even punished you for his brother's death! Now, get out!"

He did not want to die so soon, just as he never thought about running away.
