THE FORGOTTEN LUNA novel Chapter 74

THREE DAYS LATER.

ADESSA.

The last few days have been calm. We arrived at the North without any more trouble.

Since this place was cold, we could go around without any worries. I could wear a winter hat, scarf, and thicker coat. The same was true for Kael. So it was not easy to spot us.

The last days were the best I ever had if I didn’t include the times we talked about what needed to be done in case our mission failed. It made me nervous, but all of this showed me how much Kael was putting everything in his life on the line for me. I kept falling in love with him more and more.

And the sex. Oh, Goddess! They were explosive.

With us not restraining ourselves on how we felt, Kael had been adventurous and would always leave me wanting more. But despite us being disappointed I was not pregnant, we were not trying to have a baby. We were actually using contraceptives. We decided to wait until we could fix this trouble I was in.

And I was okay with that. Maybe not getting pregnant was life’s way of telling us to enjoy “us” first before we let a little life take all of our time.

I couldn’t stop the smile from curling on my lips as I stood in front of the full-length mirror at the thought of having a family with Kael. This was all I ever wanted—a family of my own with the man I loved.

Once I get back to Ironcrest, I will make sure the people begin to like me. Or at least learn to trust me. And I knew this time, Kael would help me achieve that. And maybe this time, everything will finally fall into place.

But first, I needed to be a free woman.

I let out air from my mouth as I scanned myself from head to toe.

I couldn’t recognize me. I looked different.

I still had the red hair, and I just let it down. And the makeup was so beautifully done that I couldn’t believe I could look this sophisticated.

Kael and I decided to go for a simple evening gown to avoid drawing attention. It was simple but sexy, and I liked it. I liked what I was seeing.

I had anticipated that the Moonlight Ball would feature ball gowns, evoking a medieval look similar to the themes they had in the previous year. However, the invitation that Kael got from Kevin, Rasmus’ friend, had a black and gold theme. Strictly no ballgowns. They were going for a contemporary style this time.

A knock came before I heard the knob twisted, and the door to our hotel room was opened.

I knew it was Kael. Kael had gone out earlier to ensure we had a full tank and had already secured our small bags in the car. We were ready to leave this place in case we couldn’t get the King on our side.

I slowly turned around as he locked the door behind him.

My heart was thudding loudly. He hadn’t seen me in my makeup and dress yet, and I wanted to see his reaction. I wanted his approval, not because I wouldn’t like it if he didn’t like this. I just wanted to make sure he still saw me as me and not as another woman.

I held my breath as I stared at him. He was raking my body up and down, licking his lips as he did. The moment our eyes locked, my smile finally cracked. His expression told me he liked what he was seeing.

“Damn, Adessa. I could dress you in rags, and you’d still look beautiful. But putting all this glamour around you suits you so well. Are you sure you’re an Omega?” He teased me.

I softly chuckled and remained looking at him. “Do you still recognize me as Adessa, not any other woman?”

“Kael…” I moaned loudly as my eyes rolled back and my grip on the table tightened. Like always, Kael would set fire to me, and I always ended up succumbing to my desires. “More… Oh, Goddess!”

My legs were shaking as he tongue-fucked me, and he must have noticed it after a while because he withdrew from my pussy and stood up.

My eyes snapped open, disappointed. My orgasm had already begun to build, only for him to stop abruptly.

“No…” I shook my head, my eyes giving him a warning. “We are not leaving until…”

“I know, baby.” He grabbed my ass off the table and pressed my back against the wall before hiking my leg to wrap around his hips while carefully maneuvering my long dress.

He had already had his zipper down, and I could feel his cock prodding into my wet entrance.

“I want to kiss you, but I don’t want to ruin your lipstick.” He said in a raspy voice as he pressed his arm against the wall beside my head, our faces inches from each other.

“Good boy…” I teased him as I blew soft air on his face, making him part his lips as if inhaling my breath before a cocky smile tugged at his mouth.

“I am. Always been. But I can be a bad boy, too.” Kael plunged his cock harshly into me at the last three words, and a sultry moan ripped from my throat.

His hips began bucking faster as he rammed in and out of me while my back slammed against the wall for every hard thrust.

“Open your eyes, butterfly. I want to see you. All of you, until you come.”
