Melinda was taken aback for a while, then she spoke.

I’m afraid that it’ll be difficult to kill him. Furthermore, Green Sky Hall is very powerful here. So I think that there is a huge possibility that you will die if you dare to meddle with this!”

“Heh. No need for you to worry about this, sir!”

Fane kept his needles. “I hope that you’ll be able to recover soon and live out the rest of your days in peace with your granddaughter. Once I open that door, I trust that both of you will pretend that you never heard whatever that I said, right?”

Meanwhile, Fane pondered for a moment. Then he brought Melinda over to the balcony. “Prepare yourself. Both Lawrence and Jayden are rotten to the core, but Irene might be okay,” he told her. “If they truly go for the exchange tomorrow, I’ll follow them and kill them.”
